Sick conference, sick games. Sony won. I'm done.

Ratings so far.

Nintendo World Championship 9.0
Bethesda 8.5
Microsoft 7.5
EA 6.0
Ubisoft 7.0
Sony 9.5

I would give Sony a 10, but I gotta deduct for a lack of 2015 dates and a kickstarter announcement, even if it's a gawdlike announcement. Amazing E3 so far.

We made it, GAF.

Dumbfounded.

I can't even...
I don't know how anyone can not be happy with what was shown.

The only thing missing was Half Life 3.

This year was one of the best E3's I've ever seen all around and Sony's conference was just megatons.

AMAZING conference, geez.

Final Fantasy 7 remake Hype? Shenmue 3? The Last Freakin' Guardian? YES!

Horizon looks AMAZING. My game of the show, easily.

Dreams gives me flashbacks of Mario paint for some reason, looks fun and easily could get lost in it.

No Man's Sky still looks great, no question.

Uncharted 4 also looks awesome.

That morpheus first person shooter looks fun.

This conference made me smile, ALOT.

So far, 10/10 for Sony. 8/10 for MS. (Microsoft's new elite controller, DAY FREAKIN ONE).

I don't get it. It was boring

Whats with all these junior posts? Seriously.......

guess I better ignore them or it'll annoy me How can anyone say any of these major conference were boring is beyond me they all were well done. If you want more something is seriously wrong with your expectations.

Been watching E3 for a long time. Easily one of the best conference I've seen. Damn.

The only weak parts were Media Molecule (just cuz it was sooo weird, and it didn't show off well), Blops 3 (but I mean, what can ya do?), and uh...that was pretty much it? It was seriously good front to back. It had much more highs and OMG moments throughout than MS. Games also looked much better (OMG..Horizon, OMG UC4 etc.)

My only gripe, I think they should have swapped out MM for Persona 5. I know Persona 5 is a niche Japanese title. But it's gotten a lot of followers lately. The consumer base is rapidly growing. The media LOVES Persona 5. I mean hell, GT even had it at #2 at their most anticipated (and it wasn't even shown). Also, w/ all the complaints about Sony being weak against MS this holiday season, and with the talk Persona 5 is a 2015 Holiday title in NA....it just made sense to push it. They should have pushed it hard, and tried to get more Mainstream Exposure. It was the right time for the series. So I'm super let down they skipped it and are waiting for TGS. I mean, it's niche, but not that niche.

Also, MM title was really fuckin out there, and didn't really resonate that well IMO. Persona 5 would have been a much better fit for the conference, and would have made more sense.

Great conferences from both console makers today. Backwards compatibility gives MS the clear edge in my mind, but I'm nothing other than hyped for all of this wonderful news coming from every direction.

I was excited for TLG 5 years algo. They can't be serious if they expect me to be excited about a game that should have come out for PS3.

I agree with this, too. The game does look good but it does feel like a game prettied up from last gen (art style and all is still strong but still looked a little rough).

But I agree with your overall point. Still super disappointed in a "non" date for No Man's Sky.

Jesus, I thought I had no interest in a FF7 remake, but the moment I saw Midgar, I lost it.

Between that, Last Guardian and Horizon, Sony really brought their A game. Let's hope these titles live up to their promise.

Sony delivered big-time on hype, but aside from that...I didn't think any of the conferences were all that great. Just decent-to-good. It takes more than just megaton announcements for a press conference to be good.

With the exception of Fallout 4, none of the games revealed or shown at any of the conferences convinced me that I had to buy them. There were about 5-6 other games revealed that were intriguing (such as Horizon), but I need to see/know more before I'm sold.

Incredible conference, although I would have closed with FFVII Remake personally. Uncharted 4 looks amazing though.

I've been waiting for this moment for a long time and it finally happened. So happy. I don't think we'll get a conference as earth shattering as this ever again.

I don't get it, they re-announce a game that should have come out 47 years ago and it's the great thing in history.

Horizon looks pretty great though.

We don't put it on par with Microsoft's. It was miles ahead of Microsoft's.

Yes, i really don't see how anyone can say otherwise with a straight face... Cuphead alone won't give you the win!!! :P
only game out of MS's conference that interests me

Sony straight up killed, poor Nintendo has an impossible act to top tomorrow.

Yeah, definitely the best Sony conference I've seen.
I did not feel 2013 hype at all. Basically all I got that year was that they weren't awful like Microsoft then, but nothing was really exciting in terms of announcements.

Don't get me wrong, the conference was awesome, but I'm shocked at what we DIDNT see:

Bend's game
Bloodborne DLC
GT7
Crash Bandicoot
Uncharted Date
1TB PS4/$349 500GB model

MS 6/10
Sony 8/10

Both conferences had 1 big indie game for me then dropped the ball. We got Cuphead and Firewatch, but no Inside, Rime, Witness ect... makes me sad. Where are all of the new big indies??!?!?!?!

BC has hurdles such as how limited the list might be, as well as needing Publishers to sign off on games. It's a cool feature, and as an X1 owner of course I'm happy. But we very much have to wait and see, before we can call it a truly momentous feature. The Elite controller was also $150. So take away those 2 things, and the rest of the conference was just solid, with okay games (with some really good games, although expected and predictable).

I feel like Sony hit with more big moments and had much better pacing overall.

I know I said this already, but this might be the best E3 conference ever. What could top this?

I hope Persona 5 gets shown in a few months.

I'm sure we'll get some more as we approach November/December (what I assume will be the release date). Atlus has reconfirmed 2015 release date, so it's coming.

Horizon looks pretty great though.

Nostalgia and expectations are weird like that.

Horizon was the strongest thing they showed, though, yah.
