Who is the best villain in a Playstation game? :)

Pick only 3 villains (or less).

1) Wander (SOTC)
2) Ghadius (Klonoa)
3) Professor Hojo (FFVII)

Right, as far as I've heard MS isn't really bothering with Japan.
I wonder if Sony is playing the "let's bring Japan back to it's previous glory" card. As much as I like the output of western devs right now I miss Japan's influence.

Probably some of the more casual games, singstars and whathaveyou.

E3 is war time, it's go hard or go home time.

I think they'll save a couple. Something like LBP3 would be a good Gamescom announcement. Not a megaton but has potential to be a big game, especially if it's on PS3/PS4/Vita.

Fuck yes. I'm really interested in this game and didn't think I'd be able to play it. Every F2P and indie game I want seems to be heading to PS4. The Forest is the only one I'm waiting on and Shahid seemed very excited about it when I tweeted the trailer to him. He favorited it so he'd have it for future reference and forwarded it to Yoshida so I have some hope. Those two guys have been killing it in getting devs on board.

Based on what I've seen of Knack and Puppeteer, is it possible we could be seeing a return to form for Japan Studio this gen?

Cell forced multithreading on the developers, which is inherent in all the next-gen engines. Cell had almost the same result as the BRD in that sense.

The key thing is a bit more specific than basic multi-threading, it forced developers to consider job-based engine architecture. Which is to say any function can be dispatched to any available processor regardless of type i.e. a mix of traditional cpu's and gpu/cu type cores.

This is interesting news by CVG and may further confirms that it is MS and Sony who wants to implement DRM.

The lack of clarification may not necessarily suggest that publishers will favour pre-owned fees, but it does imply that no publisher is currently willing to outright oppose the policy.

There is still a possibility that pre-owned charges are opposed by certain publishing firms, but this has yet to be communicated. The difficulties in balancing workloads in the run-up to E3 also means that comment may arrive slower than usual.
