Bit concerned about the design. Looks a bit clunky and unusual. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
On the subject of SSM's new game being a shooter, I'd also like to put out my hope that they go for something other than that. It feels like it's all oversaturated at this point, though I suppose it would probably sell.
I'd hope for an RPG of some kind as Sony doesn't really have anything like that aside from Demon's Souls in the recent years. A big Action, Western, or even Japanese RPG could be a great addition, though of course I don't know if SSM would want to make one of those or if they have the mentality for it.
Speaking of SSM, has there been anything on what Cory Barlog's been doing over at CD? He was supposed to be working on something, right?

Guys, sorry to bring up this pic again, since it's almost a day old now... But I have been thinking about the rectangular thing to the right, could it be a PS4Eye camera standing vertically in front of the console, and to the left a DS4?
I'm not sure why Sony would do a console that has 'sofa arms' when the most effective form would be a simple prism/rectangle/cube?

Yeah, I do remember hearing that as well. I'm curious what they could turn out as they've only worked on FPS games, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they have come up with. If it shows up at E3.

Everything lines up for it to be a Demon's Souls successor, in my opinion.
You could even abbreviate it the same way that a lot of the fanbase does, DeS, to differentiate from Dark Souls.
No. BLR said placeholder name and nothing else. Meaning the description is somewhat accurate? This place would fucking explode... I can't think of a bigger game outside of HL.
This was easily their best montage they've ever put together. The amount of hype before the event plus this was insane.
I've heard it's an RPG from a Japanese developer, but it's a second hand source so I don't know if it's legit.
SSM are making an FPS right? I'm expecting a visceral game rather than an RPG.

If that's legit it's probably Demon's Souls 2 or a sucessor of sorts by Miyazaki and From Software - which fits some rumours we've been hearing these days.

Playstation Ethos had very little GoW in it. It seemed to focus more on Gran Turismo and Uncharted.
Watching it again I noticed that they had Bushido Blade and Yakuza in there. I hadn't noticed them before. Nice to see SCEA recognize Yakuza.

Famousmortimer has acknowledged Demon's 2 and KH3. That's huge. Sony needs to have those games at the show. People will already be losing their minds over Versus. Then hit them with DS2 and KH3. Heart attacks everywhere.
