Demon's Souls 2, Final Fantasy and TLG are totally "world" brands though.
If they announced Disgaea 5, Persona 5 or an Atelier game you might be right.

TGS would probably be better for more Japanese focused games. Something like Yakuza 6, Level 5's new game and stuff from Namco, Capcom and Tecmo etc

Whoa, I didn't see the SMS announcement even though i already knew they had a game in the works.
Sony really is going for the perfect launch. To have all their top studios ready for a new AAA title within the first year or maybe even launch window is amazing. Just looking at the PS3 launch lineup makes me laugh and cry how bad it was. Resistance is awesome though. My first PS3 game.

After announcing all their policies regarding used games and DRM i have no idea why MS will even bother launch there.
I just dreamt that the conference already happened last night.
The only new things we got were hilarious.
- an inFamous spin off called Lost Cities. You played as Winston Churchill.

This is certainly the result of traumatic pre-conference stress. There's no hope for you.

No slide just announce it outright and shout it or make some melodramtic announce while the audience goes crazy.
One can only hope at this point.
They'll dismiss MS easily in Japan. But that doesn't mean PS4 will do well. They still need to transition PS3 owners over, limit the Wii U's viability and try to encourage publishers to choose PS4 over 3DS.

inFamous is a series I like very much, but I don't think the new Winston Churchill direction will work.
Nintendo don't even attend TGS.
Going there, showing basically the same stuff as they show tomorrow, with a bunch of Vita stuff is more than enough.
Holding back something like a Demon's Souls 2 for TGS would be crazy. It's far more important to the core in the West.
Man, if the requirements to play this game would be A PS3, PS3 Slim, Premium $500 PS4, two vitas, and a cable to connect them all.. I'd still take it, This game should just release already.

You really should. ICO is a great game but not a favorite. SOTC, on the other hand, was just so out there it was amazing. Give them a try a soon as you can. They are wonderful.

I'll make it home just in time for MS' conference tomorrow, and I sure as hell am going to stay up at silly o'clock in the morning for Sony's even though I've got to be up early the next day. The timezone gods are not kind to me.

It starts at 3 AM in my timezone, I've got class at 8. Ehhhh..
But Nintendo has a pre-TGS show for themselves. Besides it's not about 'winning' TGS. It's just about showing Japanese gamers that PS4 is something they should want.
But I'm not advocating holding back The Last Guardian or Demon's Souls 2. They should be shown at E3 if ready. Going back to my earlier post I'm just saying they need a strong TGS, but it should be Japanese focused for stuff like Yakuza, Tales and random other stuff. Internationally recognised games should be shown earlier.

In my one the Oculus guys came out said that "Oculus Rift is compatible with PS4 and games are being made for it right now". Then they just said the phrase "Oculus Rift" over and over for 2 hours then dropped the mic. Everybody clapped.
