If Witcher 3 is behind closed doors, there's no way we see Cyberpunk. It's still really far out in development, and likely won't release until 2015 at the earliest.

I'm curious about a lack of multiplatform next-gen games; I mean there will be a lot of exclusives and cross-gen games, but how many multiplatform games so far do we know about that aren't on the PS360 as well? I can think of the Witcher 3 and that's about it. I'm sure E3 will change that though.

Since its the beginning of the new generation, both MS and Sony will try to gain and announce any many exclusives as they can from third parties in the first year or two but after that those exclusives with go multiplatform given they don't own the IP, IMO.

That's gameplay. The idea is that the trailer would debut at the conference,

i think people are getting 'debut' and 'exclusive debut' confused. Due to MS being earlier stuff will 'debut' there first, but that doesn't mean it's exclusive. Destiny gameplay will 'debut exclusively' @ Sony's conference, tho... :)

They are plenty for ps4

FFVersus
TLG

O_o

Right now people are fixating on two PS3 games that are being thrown a next gen paint job as their big saviors.
Think about this.
Think on this clearly for a moment.
Do you really believe that these will match in quality and scope games that were made from the ground up for the new hardware and the new specs?
While I will be very glad to see them, it will take alot more than two PS3 vaporwares to do what Sony will need to do at this E3.

We'll probably see a Ubisoft appearance up on stage probably not Watch Dogs maybe Assassin's Creed 4 :/ (Weird since we already saw Ship Battling at Sony's Past E3 with Assassin's Creed 3)

I hope somebody shows off The Walking Dead 400 Days, because that's one of my most anticipated at this point. Curious to see what that game exactly entails.

SONY CONFERENCE:

Kaz walks out with a swagger, unveils the hardware its a black square box.

"The Ps4 will retail for $699, and the main controller is going to be Move! Oh and one last thing, we will fully support DRM enabling you to borrow games from retail or digital stores Thanks everyone *sunglasses on" #dealwithit and have a great E3!"

O_o

At that point I'd laugh hysterically and order two Titans immediately.

What is a 'ground up' next-gen game exactly? Neither TLG or Versus has been seen for two years, how long do you think dev kits have been out?

It's not like there is some huge gulf between KZ:SF and Battlefield 4. This anti-cross-gen thing on GAF of late is really strange.

I'm getting sick of Ubisoft stuff at Sony's conference. How many years has it been ? Like an AC every year and watch dogs at PS meeting. Fuck off Ubisoft, just because your conference isn't even worth watching for an hour doesn't mean you can leech off the big 3 to promote the same shit every year.

Tell me you are joking...

For me.. I will be trading in my PS3 around March or so for credit to aid staying within a fixed budget and getting some games. Since PS4 won't play my PS3 games, I'll be happier buying games shown for PS4 even if they are PS3 games with a coat of next gen paint. Unfortunately, this means I'll not be buying some of these last amazing current gen games. Why waste the money for games that can only be used for a few months or so in my case.

But they say gamers still want to play Assassin Creed.

Not if you think that the most likely reason these games weren't released in current hardware was because their scope was too high for it.

You make a good point.

The PS4 interface looks really fucking nice.

You are talking about these, right?

I don't know. I'm not really convinced yet. Are there are already videos where we see the OS really in action?
I'm mostly worried about the ease of use, though.

So if we go by rumors both FO4 and witcher 3 will be at MS conference.

They're being very aggressive with brand association stuff, I'll give them that. They'll have tongues wagging, but it'll likely mean nothing in terms of where and when those games appear on other platforms.

Honestly, way more interested in what the internals and second parties have to show on both sides.

Oh, I just remembered I had a cool idea yesterday.

So, Sony really did something special with PS+, but what's the next step? A great source of revenue is found in renting games, Gamefly seems to be doing well enough. What if Sony could get in on that, and actually make it easier and quicker?

So, PSRent would be their rental service, that they introduce later on in the PS4's life-cycle, when it has a big enough library to warrant it. Basically, you can digitally rent a game for say 5.99$ or 4.99$ if you have PS+. You could pay it immediately due to the Gaikai stuff, which releives some headaches of waiting, and you hae access to the game for 5 days. The only catch? Since the title is completely digital and timed, you have to be online to play it.

Another cool part of this would be at the end of your 5 day rental, a box comes up and says "Would you like purchase this game fully?" and you can purchase the game immediately off of the PSN Store, and it is 4.99$-5.99$ cheaper; basically subtracting your rental price. It basically removes all the DRM/rental stuff on it, and then you can immediately go back to your game, except you own it now.

Forza 5 demo at the conference, TitanFall will almost certainly be there since the GI cover was supposed to go up Tuesday and now The Witcher 3.

But we all knew that Forza 5 was going to be shown off in some capacity. However, TitanFall leak (with those quotes about the cloud, lol) caught a few off guard at MS and GI.
