It would be great if it was actually gameplay, that means the game is further along in development than I thought, which in turns means sooner release date.
Anyway, "in engine gameplay" sounds very confusing. A trailer rendered in engine could possibly not be real time. As in, a more poweful hardware is used to render it than the hardware that runs gameplay, but it uses the same engine. Think ND's PS3 games which had pre rendered in engine cutscenes. Real time in engine would mean it is rendered on the same hardware and engine regardless of cutscenes and gameplay. Think Uncharted 4.
I understand your scepticism, but I think JStevenson (Insomniac guy who's a regular on here) said it was taken from actual gameplay.
