Sony's Nixxes Studio Are Also Working on Remasters

Great news all around. Expanding the team to take on more PC ports and assisting other 1P studios should be a no brainer (looking at you Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy). It's criminal that Sony has such talent at Nixxes and TLoU Part 1 released in that state on PC. Having them work on "simple" remasters would be good to fill the time between major releases. There are a LOT of Sony games stuck on the PS3 and I do not plan to go back on the framerate and resolution that characterized that generation. It's a strategy that seems to work well for Nintendo and Square Enix.

Also make deal with bamco to bring Classics like DBD and Urban Reign in PS5, and also Tekken and SC collections.

Oh yea for sure. But they're still only 1080p. I really want them to get upscaled again. Though unfortunately the cutscenes will always be 720-1080p-ish.

I'm wondering if Naughty Dog will ever commission a remake especially of Uncharted 2 with real time cutscenes like The Last of Us Part 1 but I'd also really love to see Drake's Fortune get that treatment.

Though I feel like they'll never do that as they are technically Amy Hennig's games. It would create a ton of negative press.

Right, yea. Both of those games look incredible.

If I had it my Drake's Fortune especially would get a full remake.

I really want Drake's Fortune or Among Thieves to get TLOU Part 1 remakes.
 
I already own these on PS3 but I'd pay top €€€ for Infamous, Killzone, GoW, Resistance and Motorstorm collection remasters.

Edit: Oh and Ratchet & Clank collection, too!

If PlayStation gets a clue, they won't be working on PC ports at all. Remasters, and technical support team for PlayStation Studios, VASG style.
 
Remasters? hmm what's left to remaster?
If they are doing some PS3 games then i rather have a remake since remastering an PS3 game wouldn't look so hot?
If it's a PS4 game then i don't remember many PS4 games needing a remaster.
 
Fucking yes! On top of the obvious request for them to do something about the whole Bloodborne situation, I'd love if they brought back Killzone 2 (given their geographical proximity to Guerrilla) or the Resistance games (as a way to continue their Insomniac collaborations, beyond the Spider-Man and Ratchet & Clank PC ports).

Nixxes has been busy porting Insomniac games. NaughtyDog got stuck with Iron Galaxy.
 
The games I want remastered in 4K/120 from PS3. (not 4K/60) are:

1. Killzone trilogy without multiplayer
2. Resistance trilogy without multiplayer
3. Infamous 1 and 2.
4. Ratchet and Clank PS3 trilogy and a port of the PS2 games.
5. God of War collection

Release them with 4K/120 support, a price of no more than $39.99 and maybe some AI upscaling to for textures.

Easy peezy.
