Sony's Nixxes Studio Are Also Working on Remasters

The games I want remastered in 4K/120 from PS3. (not 4K/60) are:

1. Killzone trilogy without multiplayer
2. Resistance trilogy without multiplayer
3. Infamous 1 and 2.
4. Ratchet and Clank PS3 trilogy and a port of the PS2 games.
5. God of War collection

Release them with 4K/120 support, a price of no more than $39.99 and maybe some AI upscaling to for textures.

Easy peezy.

I mean this is all companies can do. No more new IP's. Make money doing less work on remasters and remakes than designing something new.

Sony hasn't made a PLAYSTATION since the PS3. They're just white labeling AMD SOC's now.
IBM did the heavy lifting on the CPU, plus off the shelf Nvidia GPU, some work from Sony like demanding 8 SPUs instead of 6 because it's more elegant lol.

PS2 was Toshiba and Sony custom just before both CPUs and GPUs required vastly more resources to keep up.
PSX was Sony plus an off the shelf CPU and integration work via LSI.

AFAICT Sony is doing what they've always done: design a system and then find people to build it. It's easier with AMD SoCs than it used to be sure.

Bloodborne, Gravity Rush Collection, Motorstorm Collection, Resistance Collection, Folklore remastered. Stop me anytime here Nixxes.

Why would anyone ever want to play Killzone 3 campaign again?
It was absolute shit!

Warhawk when?
I honestly don't know how I would feel about Warhawk today, given the amount of online games we've seen since, but I have so many great memories of it.

It was one of my first big online multiplayer experiences, at a time where we didn't have many stuff like this, I never had online on older consoles, and I didn't have my own pc for gaming. All of these reasons made it a very memorable and unique experience, which is why I think it wouldn't be the same today for me, but I'd still be really curious to play it again. I really liked the large scale of it, with people fighting at completely different places and you just being immersed there, doing your part. That's also what I really liked in the old star wars battelfront games which sadly isn't in the new ones, as the game always force you to move to a new area after each objective.

Hopefully GOW Greek collection. I still don't understand why Sony never released it yet.

Also make deal with bamco to bring Classics like DBD and Urban Reign in PS5, and also Tekken and SC collections.

Probably because people would remember/realize the original series is better, and it would negatively affect sales of the newer games.

If PlayStation gets a clue, they won't be working on PC ports at all. Remasters, and technical support team for PlayStation Studios, VASG style.
They will get it, just like MS did, once the PlayStation 5 sales start to slide and attach rate on the ps4 and ps5 suffer.

Sony doesn't have billions and billions to keep steam/pc players afloat.

Arguably, there are a lot of classic games out there that people won't play simply because they look or feel dated, and that's if they're even on a modern platform at all. The number of consumers that have come to market and bought consoles has grown by orders of magnitude since the 90s, so it makes sense to take previously successful formulas and iterate on them. I don't know that we need anything remastered from as recent as PS4, but some of the older stuff sure.
