I apologize in advance if we all get blown up. :D

Time to switch up the avatar. :) Hey it would make for a nice way to make a statement if people start using it.

Awesome :lol Do you have the url of where you found it? Or the original picture? If you could send me the picture that you downloaded, the URL may still be embedded in the picture. Maybe I can find a larger version using Google Cache.

Now somebody just needs to edit out the censor bar and edit in that Mohammed, and put it on the internet, and shit can get REAL.

I'm doing just that this weekend, as long as you guys are cool with me posting it.

South Park Creators Respond

http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/04/22/south-park-creators-respond/

In the 14 years we’ve been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn’t stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn’t some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle’s customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn’t mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We’ll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we’ll see what happens to it.

Page or two late there, bucko.

I still can't believe that the end speech was censored. It just works too perfectly as a joke to have it intentionally beeped - especially when you consider it was Jesus and Santa that also deliver the speech, and that after 3 minutes of beeeeeeep the only response is Stan's "yeah". Evidently it wasn't a joke, but it worked so well.

So moving on a little, since we have one episode left, and South Park themselves is in the news, do you think they'll reference this is any way, or just completely ignore it and choose to move on?

They should add the speech some how to the start of next weeks episode.
I like this idea. Maybe combine it with the Terrance and Phillip episode many of us expected this week? Episode starts, Kyle goes to immediately start his 'you know, I learned something last week' speech, show cuts out and becomes a T&P episode. Somebody should pay me to write this shit.

It's actually still up there, not the clip, but the avatar image.

the original link

http://southparkstudios.mtvnimages..../import/season_05/sp_0504_12_v6.jpg?width=200

Now, just remove "?width=200" & you get this:

sp_0504_12_v6.jpg

I've saved both images using Web Devil in case the images are taken down.

Oh & it looks like the clip link is either finally down (or just acting up). Here's a Google Cache version

The episode is supposed to be on again tonight at 10:30. If it isn't on tonight, I guess we can assume that Comedy Central is never going to air it again.

I'm cool with it. Then we need to have a good Kyle impersonator give a mock intimidation and fear speech at the end, and we'll upload it for ultimate fame and end-of-the-world goodness :D

Larry king, Penn Jilliette and some blonde chick are on Larry King talking about the southpark. Unsurprisingly only Penn is saying something intelligent but it's cool to see this get some mainstream attention.

If Comedy Central pulls 201 tonight and won't show it again, I wonder if they'll pull 200 and never air it again too.

With how fast things from GAF spread, you might wanna warn Evilore and Bish. You know Bish will chain-beat some ass if anything tries to harm us.

Comedy Central pulled it. They're showing the Facebook episode again. I guess 201 is going to become a lost episode that only had one airing, like Not Without My Anus.

That aired more then once. I saw it on a repeat and wasn't sure what was going on (since I didn't see it in order).

This whole thing makes me sick. It's unbelievable how cowardly Comedy Central is for censoring not only Mohammed, but Kyle's speech about intimidation and fear too.

Pathetic.

Not Without My Anus has aired quite a few times.

I've never seen it. I always thought that it was never aired again after the first airing after all the backlash from the fans.

They took the 200th episode off the iTunes store. This doesn't bode well for me getting the 201st episode on my season pass....

I know the mods and staff here don't condone piracy, but I think that this is a situation where a person is completely justified to just find a torrent of the episode and downloading it.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it during several of the marathons they've done in the past, like most shocking episode countdowns or whatever.

I was pissed when it didn't run as a rerun at 12:00 AM and I'm pissed it isn't showing up tonight even though TV Guide says that it is supposed to be episode 201. Way to cave into pressure comedy central.

Torrent it. If Comedy Central's going to pull this shit, there's no reason not to.

The only version to torrent is the edited one though. Its silly to think CC will never air this episode again eventually but the original needs to get out. I hope Matt or Trey give an intern their blessing to leak it!

John Stewart's speech tonight on The Daily Show about the censorship of the South Park episode and freedom of speech was fucking brilliant.

Is that online anywhere?

Daily Show gets posted the day after to dailyshow.com. Then again it will repeat tonight and clips most likely will be up of individual segments by then. It's the first segment of the episode.

I don't have Comedy Central HD. Is it on the regular channel? With Zoe Saldana?
