When will the religion of peace grow up and stop killing people who do something against what they believe is in their religions best interest?

I thought the US government took away all our privacy with the Patriot Act specifically to protect us from these terrorists. Aren't we perfectly safe now that we've given away much of our civil liberties? :D

So your trying to make some kind of point here?

Well, it looks like the website run by those who threatened Trey and Matt got hacked.
Kind of NSFW, but no gore/hardcore porn, just a guy kissing a kid in the mouth.

For God's sake, the uncensored image of Muhammed is right there on SPS site and nobody cares about it, yet people make death threats over even mentioning him now? The whole First Amendment bullshit is now used to protect terrorists and not normal sane people. Fucking ridiculous.

Now that is great.:lol
I wonder what they will do now, track and kill the hackers?

So they did censor it, eh? So much for Dacvak calling everyone stupid. What a douche.

Love the fans who bitch about the show being intolerant to their religion and how they love the show previously. It's like when Isaac Hayes left because they made fun of Scientology, yet had no problem shitting on other beliefs in previous episodes.

Wow, I thought that's how the episode was suppose to be. It all kind of works though, including that message on the site and the fact Comedy Central went further with the censors as it shows how ridiculous this whole thing of not defaming or showing Mohammad is yet there is not the same level of uproar when other important religious figures are made fun of.

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

"in the mouth" makes it sound even dirtier...

Wait, I checked just in case because it didn't sound right to me and the website was actually named www.revolutionmuslim.com, but is not working at all. I guess it wasn't hacked then? Or did they shut down that one and replaced it with the new one?

Shame they had to censor it so much but it's understandable...
Hopefully the DVD release shows everything.
Also I thought this scene was a nice touch:

Man, the phone's been blowing up today with interview calls way more so than normal. Everyone wants a piece of Matt and Trey.

Fine with me. Keeps me employed the more press the show gets. :lol

So they can stream Super Best Friends but not this?
You can make fun of anyone or anything you want, but don't even mention the leader of the Religion of Peace.™

Oh I didn't realize they have that old ep. Hah. I guess CC doesn't watch SP anyway. Or SPStudios had the rights to all the old content. I know CC only had exclusivity and rights to the newest eps.

Nah, "Buddha doesn't believe in evil" :p

About the episode, it was pretty damn good. Better than part 1, and the whole Scott Tennorman sequence was gold. Even better cause, as I said one week ago, I hoped that they could at the very least reference this episode. Cartman being his half-brother takes it to completely another level though:lol
And the ending was simply perfect:D

Congratulations man, that was one damn fine episode, definitely the best one since at least Fishsticks. 201 will be hard to top next week, but I hope season mid-finale will be great too.
Btw, if you can say, how are Matt and Trey personally feeling about all of this?

Can anyone give me an idea of what happened in the episode with the whale on the moon? I must have missed that one.

Workers at seaworld use the speaker to trick them into thinking the whale is from the moon so they send it back.

sorry for the broken sentence, but that's what I was saying, someone asked about the moon episode, that's why I mentioned MASA and the picture...

They've been in meetings for next weeks ep from what little I've seen, but as far as I've heard around the office the bleeping was a surprise to everyone. I don't really talk to them or anything, but I can't imagine they're happy.

Oh, haha. Yeah, I read the second part and must have completely forgot about the first sentence.

I see. Well, they probably aren't really happy considering it's second time this happens :/

Uh.... wat. And it's real, I've just checked. I watched this episode an hour ago so it must've been taken down only a few minutes ago. Sigh.

I seriously have a hard time believing this censorship is real. It totally seemed like something Trey would do on purpose as an ironical way to protest censorship. That was my theory on the censorship in Cartoon Wars, as well. I found it humorous.

Pretty lame if they ACTUALLY had to censor Muhammad. But I still think there's a good chance this is still a publicity stunt. If Cartoon Wars 1 and 2 go down, I'm gonna lose my shit. :lol

No, I'm with you, Dacvak, for the most part.

They HAVE to know they can't get away with some shit, so they do it in a way that when it IS censored, it comes off as funny/ridiculous.

In both Cartoon Wars and this, it comes off funnier with the shit bleep/obscured. There's no joke if it's just laid out there as "intended."

See, now I was always under the impression that this was part of the joke. Trey has said in interview before that they specifically discuss what goes in the episode before it's made, to make sure it's able to air on TV. Meaning that Comedy Central would have told Matt and Trey they can not show an image of Mohammed during the episode. So if that were true, then why would they create a scene with Mohammed in it, only to have it inevitably get censored?

And let's say there was never an actual scene with Mohammed, and they put up the censor above themselves. That makes it part of the joke, since it was done on purpose. Otherwise, people might get the impression that they actually folded to either Muslims or Comedy Central, which would make them appear unnecessarily weak and lame, since Matt and Trey would have been able to control whether or not the censor was put in. If they really HAD to censor Mohammad, they probably would have just not visibly shown the Family Guy video in the episode, and had the camera cut to the faces of the people watching it.

That's kind of a jumbled thought process, but I hope you see what I mean.

Agreed, they probably just put the Mohammad stuff in there regardless of knowing they can't and let Comedy Central change/censor them before broadcast so it both makes them look like they're still standing up for themselves/rights AND it gives internet nerds something tangible to point their fingers at to rage on (that's not Matt and Trey).

My "conspiracy theory" on the subject.

It's been kind of a "we do what we want" vibe as of late in the office. Did you see the statement on the website?

In the 14 years we've been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn't stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn't some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle's customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn't mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We'll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we'll see what happens to it.
