I have no idea where they came from or if they are still going. But I was able to claim my code on steam. (this was a few weeks back)

That is when I got my version as well. Though I made a mistake it isn't the Russian version it was ROW(Rest of World) it was just that people in Russia were able to by that version for cheap. I am pretty sure that Ubisoft closed that down.

Yeah ubi closed that down last week and if you didn't have it redeemed there was a chance that the game would be region locked to Russia

I am so damn torn about this game.
South Park is one of my favorite TV shows period. I adore it to put it lightly.
I loath turn based combat games. Loathe them. Have never made it longer than an hour in any game that incorporates this gameplay mechanic.
I happen to adore video games as much as I adore South Park, probably even more so.
So can I overlook one of, in not my, least favorite type of gameplay genres for my love of the show itself? I do not think I can at the end of the day, and feel like if I spend the $60 on it, I will play for a few hours because of my love of the show, but eventually stop playing because of my dislike of the genre of game that it is.

Really hoping I sent back Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3DS to GameFly in time to have an open spot on my queue for them to send me this game. I might not have. If I did not, I will probably break down and purchase it, even though I am pretty sure I will hate the gameplay.
EDIT - Nice, I thought it came out earlier, I almost definitely sent back OoT in time to get this game as a rental.

I have truly never faced such a predicament in regards to a video game. How I wish it was a different genre of gameplay.

That's awesome to hear. Any way you could estimate the number of hours you've spent on the main campaign, side missions, etc?

I'm curious as well. The gameplay, story, and how the game looks has already got me interested. I just want to hear about the length now.

I'm also waiting for reviews on the PS3 version of this game. I want to know if it runs good. The game doesn't look graphics heavy, so I'm hoping it runs good.

Completed the game, still got loads of side quests only did a few and mainly stuck with the main quest but I'd guess around 16-18 hours I've played. I'll check later on.

Bought a copy of the game when the region locking wasn't a bit deal and thought I'd just redeem it when I could play it. Just checked now and it's region locked. This is the worst.

Well hot damn! I just got a review code for PC!

What makes this funnier, is when you remember that Cartman's mum's been in German Scat porn...

I'm kinda torn on this because I love Obsidian and want a good, fun RPG to blow through, and yet I find South Park funny only about 30% of the time. I guess this is probably not for me?

That's a nice length if you just focus on the main story, which is something I never do anyway...

Can't wait. Just 6 more days :D

Eh, I wouldn't chance it if I were you. I got the same email you did and while it doesn't strictly say not to talk about anything, it does kinda imply not to.

Can you pm me, I don't see anything in the email asides from specs, the code and the embargo date for review. Did yours say something else?

Nice one dude. I've played it for 2 days non stop and nearing the end I imagine. It really is epic. :D

Good to hear! :D

Probably not. While the gameplay mechanics look OK, this is a fan service game. You may still find some enjoyment, but not as much as South Park fans will.

Seeing as how I'll do every quest in the game, main story line or side, that seems like it'll be a good length. Glad to hear there's some meat on the bones.

On one hand, anything less than 20 hours for this kind of game is rather disappointing. On the other hand, Dark Souls II comes out a week later and inFamous the week after that.

And if you get good deals it's not so bad, I'm waffling but I'm locked in at about $33 for Amazon currently which is a good hours-per-dollar ratio.

I hope the day one patch includes an unskippable full length T&P episode. "congratulations on finally purchasing the stick of truth! our feature presentation will not be seen until the end of asses of fire number two!"

They could patch it back out later. The fans that have been waiting will get the joke and unhappily sit through it.

18 hour for main quest alone is pretty good to hear. A perfect single player RPG to me should be around 40-60 hours including side quests.

Will the PC version launch on the same day?

Just bought this off Steam, can't wait to play it, might be the best thing to happen for South Park in years!!!

Well he estimated 16-18 hours, and that included 3 side quests. Will be interesting to see what the exact number is when he checks in later. My guess is that the main campaign is 15 hours.

That's sounds pretty good! Did you explore much? That one guy was saying he played for like an hour or two before he reached the part that was at the end of the 13 minute gameplay video.

This game is the sole reason I still have my PS3. Huge expectations for this game based on how much Trey and Matt have been involved.

Played 2 hours so far and they absolutely nailed the show quality. I'm still on the first main quest after the intro stuff and did a few side quests. I've LOL'd out loud a few times already. So yeah... keeping things to a minimum :D

I know there were some keys going around a couple of weeks ago, but are there any more keys that someone would be willing to sell me for around $30?
