Spacers Choice in The Outer Worlds the worst corporation in gaming?

Gamer79

Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
It's not the Only Choice! It's Spacers Choice! Spoilers ahead

I am a bit late getting on The Outer Worlds hype train. It's cool that the Sequel is due this year. I just completed my first play though and wow what a shitty corporate

First of call the Spacers Choice corporation is one of the coldest companies in existence. They don't give a shit about anyone, outside of the elite. They even say things like "If your sick, come in to work because it will purify you" or some shit like that. Just the simple fact they are allowing 100,000 people to remain frozen on a damaged Cargo ship because it effects the companies bottom line or they are worried about Food supply. Reminds me of a real political party today who just lost an election but acts the same way. They say they are for the people and say they it's to benefit everyone but it only ends up being the poor are fucked over and the Rich live it up. Spacers' Choice was able to build like a cult like following where people who turn their families or even themselves in to die because it was "for the good of the company." Spacers Choice is an insane Mega Corporation Spun out of Control. It's kinda like those old Mining town's in the 1800's where they pay workers with Currency that can only be spent at the company store. This company openly kills anyone who goes against the grain.

If You side with them for the ending it is really fucked up:

With their Cult like culture they were able to convince all of the Workers and poorer class agreed to Be Cryoginically Frozen for an undetermined amount of time. All of the population of the colony outside of the elite and the elite town of Byzantium die off. The company did not tell the people that they had no way to Reliably unfreeze them and they had no plan to fix the Famine. So what ends up happening is the Entire Poor/working population never wake up while only the Rich and their one Rich town of Byzantium thrive. As the Decades roll on, They have no contact with earth, all the towns in the colony dies off, and only the elite remain. Hell you as the player become the leader of the colony and support all of this.

Cold shit

Are peril and murder expansions worth it? They're on sale on Switch , I think I wanna bite
From what i remember, Peril is very mid, Murder was a little better. It's a shame because both DLCs have a very good start, good premice and a good atmosphere in the beginning but it goes down the drain. The ending of Murder On Eridanos was especially disappointing as fuck. But if you like the game you can try it it's not terrible either.

Umbrella is the GOAT of evil videogame corporations.
I'm still not sure whats their ultimate goal is in the end, if they just want to make money by selling those virus as weapons but if those same weapons make the world apocalyptic then they no longer wont making any money.

There was a lot of infighting from a bunch of evil selfish people with their own individual goals.
