Speculation: Cyberpunk2077 might get gamepass drop this month (Stalker 2 was delayed. This might be the big February gamepass game)

Cyberpunk 2077 is getting next gen enhanced version. With all the drama, the game had, MS can very well drop some money bags for CDPR, and use this chance to put the game on gamepass.

My tinfoil hat is that, tomorrow gamepass announcement could have cyberpunk2077. Since Stalker 2 was delayed.
Hoping Neil Patrick Harris GIF

The only thing that somewhat supports this is their marketing deal may have had a game pass component to it.

While Game Pass seems likely, it being a replacement for Stalker 2 is nonsense.

I believe the game just went on Sale, at least on Xbox. If they stealth drop it on Game Pass, might be some angry Game Pass subscribers.

I'll play the game again if it finally has a cosmetic slot for armors. I hate looking like some mismatched blue-pink neon trashbag. 🤪

over 15 million sales probably 20 million plus now i think it pretty big even with the Bugs and Glitches

Ya kind a silly point, it was clearly one if the biggest titles in terms of sales and exposure in the past 2 years.

Not expecting Cyberpunk 2077 to go on Game Pass any time soon. There will most likely be a Series X/S (and PS5) playable demo shadow dropping tomorrow. The update is also expected to be shadow dropped tomorrow even though I think there's a chance it slips to March. It better be ready for release.

Also, there will be expansions that based on The Witcher 3 will be of high quality so as long as the current generation upgrade is what it should and not a clusterfuck, Cyberpunk 2077 should get a resurgence and for me personally, a first time playthrough as I have been waiting for the current generation upgrade before playing the game.

"Big game" 😆 I bought it for less than $10 last year. New and sealed launch edition boxset. It's always on clearance everywhere.

Yeah, it got exposed for its open world gameplay being very disappointing to what they adverstised before release, not to mention the countless bugs. It was so bad, it forced Sony to actually give out refunds and take it off the PSN store.😒

As long as they bought it in the last 14 days and played less than 2 hours they can refund it.

Wtf... Any type of assumption is now thread worth? Everyone should flood the forums with a thred for each ideea or dream they have... Some kind of moderation on opening threads has be put in place.

If threads are evidence from Twitter than everything is real in 2022.

I was playing this the other day and it seems vastly improved from release. It started downloading a fucking huge patch this morning, hopefully more improvements included in that as its nearly 40GB

if they fix the problems the game has. The game has the potential to be good. The story is great, but the gameplay makes the game look bad. Especially with the amount of bugs the game had, during the launch.
I think the bigger problem is the flow. Witcher 3 also had a lot of stuff to do, but side quests were much more pronounced and elaborate whereas all the side activities were mostly dexterity checks (find a treasure, gather something).

In Cyberpunk I get a sense that the side quests are a bit simpler since they couldn't really develop all of them to the W3 quality given how many there are. On the other hand all the side activities are more elaborate, but not enough not to cause fatigue e.g. gang fights.

Think it might ok now at this point. Certainly if they put it on gamepass I'll give it a decent chance.

I do wonder if CDPR are on Microsofts to buy list? If these rumours are true they would obviously be on good terms, how much would they cost?
Their current market value stands at $4.5bn, so with the premium paid for acquisition + the fact that stock might rise again if next gen version is good, it would be probably between 5 & 6 $bn.
