Spider-Man: No Way Home - First Official Trailer

Dr. Strange is easily my favorite of all the individual marvel movies, so seeing that he's such a big part of this one is amazing. Plus the Dr. Strange sequel is coming up as well!

Green Goblin and Doc Ock 100% confirmed, exciting but also not exciting at the same time. lol
How does Doc Ock know who Peter is in this reality?
And what are Stephen's ulterior motives? No way is he casting that spell just for Peter.

Electro and Sandman are also in the trailer.

But is this the Doc Oc from Raimiverse or is it just a cameo like the Quickasilver in Wandavision?

Same actor, same character, but slightly different because it's still the MCU multiverse. So Electro uses yellow lighting now instead of blue like in ASM2. They're changed just slightly to better fit the MCU as opposed to looking like Power Ranger villains in the original Sonyverse.

Watched it for the first time and actually said "yaaaasssss" unironically because I got so excited.

I'm not even kidding.

RE the spell that Peter wants cast, I'll remind people that the advertising for Far From Home made it look like the multiverse would be in that film.
So don't be surprised that even though it looks like Stephen is casting that spell in this trailer doesn't mean he actually is.

A photo of Tobey and Andrew literally leaked today, we have Goblin, Ock, Sandman, and Electro in this trailer, and you're trying to say there's no multiverse in this? Especially after Loki and What If?

This is part one, second movie is multiverse of madness. Dr. Strange and Pete broke our reality, but I believe the o"other" Dr. Strange is working behind this.

I hope the films of the MCU don't ignore the th shows like Loki and try to act like Strange is what causes the multiverse

Kang is the villain in Ant-Man 3. Sam Wilson is Cap in Captain America 4. Scarlet Witch and the Dark Hold are in Doctor Strange 2. They're not ignoring the shows.

Arrogant Strange is back! I'm not quite digging the fact that the plot is driven by the Sorcerer Supreme fucking up a spell. I know I know, characters aren't supposed to be perfect but we've already done genius meddles in something they shouldn't leading to bad stuff trope already. I hope there is a little more depth to why the spell went wrong in the movie, maybe connecting to Loki/Wandavision events. Otherwise I liked it.

Tobey and Garfield for the traditional end of trailer two hype blast!

I enjoyed the trailer. I hope this movie doesn't disappoint like everything Marvel that has been released since Endgame.

I keep seeing this. Is this the first time anyone has seen Doctor Strange in the MCU? His entire character is built on him being arrogant and pushing the limits.
Yes, agree with you there. But I was under the impression that even if he were to push limits of any sort, it would be for the benefit of himself, or the universe in general, not for a person he just met, and more so if it has the risk to screw up reality.

I dunno, seems out of character to me. Unless he had some other motives.

I'm intrigued. But, Zendaya being in this movie is not any less annoying than it was in the first two. A character created in the MCU and not the comic. Taking up valuable character time from someone that IS in the comics.

I was trying to imply in my last post, Strange may not even be casting the spell that Peter wants him to cast. He might be casting something totally different.
A misdirect basically.

It's a shame she has no charisma onscreen.
Same with the Captain Marvel actress.

Shouldn't Spidey be more concerned about the Avengers no longer knowing who he is, as opposed to his close friends and family he can easily re-tell?

yah that was a dumb part, Strange should know the dangers of the multiverse and not tamper for something like this. and just a few comments running the spell and endangering space time? smh!

This not actually Dr.Strange. but the same guy from one more day. he would do a grand trick like this

The ending of WandaVision was updated with what many suspect is a Dr Strange appearance, so the events from that show may have brought forward another.

Well he's what, 17 in this film? Probably not the most forward thinker. And as adept as this Peter is at the sciences and manufacturing, it's been shown time and again that he often isn't too bright when it comes to anything else.
