Spider-Man PC Leaked Screenshots

Do you mean throwing webs at the air molecules to swing?

thatsthejoke.jpg

edit* My post was deleted for trolling? Its my honest opinion watch this video and compare
it to the new spiderman the PSX game is better in every way other than graphically

So many comments about the keyboard controls. If you ever took a screenshot, you'd know that many games switch between controller glyphs and keyboard keys on the fly. So when you tap F12, there you go! You now look like m+kb ponce in games where controller is the natural or superior choice.

Mouse and keyboard for RTS and FPS are obvious.
Even third person shooters I understand, mouse provides nice precision.

But people that play action/adventure games with mouse and keyboard are weird. And that's coming from me, a member of PC-GAF 😂
Growing up I had a friend who played PES/FIFA with mouse and keyboard. Never quite could figure that one out, odd fellow.

Really?

I'm talking smaller curved monitors. After staring at one all day, it makes regular flat panels look convex until your eyes adjust. Shit's whack.
Didn't know this. Sounds bad for me, my eyes are already whack. Not that I can ever sit by the PC all day long though.

Looks worse than it did on PS4 because of that guy's rig and/or settings.

It'll be a nice experience on PC but I don't really want to play the game again. I never finished Miles Morales so I'll definitely double dip on that.

Looks like PS4 spider man lol

I would say the thread is kinda pointless since the game didnt leak prior to an announcement unlike tReturnal. But very good looking pics.

For me, the rule is that if it's got freelook it's a kb/m game :lollipop_grinning_smiling_eyes:
Batman: Arkham? Assassin's Creed? Middle-earth: Shadow? All keyboard and mouse games. I really only prefer gamepads for games with locked perspectives, like Resident Evil or God of War (not the reboot), but I also like to use my Razer Hydra with Portal 2. Unlocks some new mechanics.

you literally can hold R2 and Spiderman will not only swing but also automatically wallrun, jump over small elements etc.
wait really? thought the swinging was going to be like ultimate spiderman where you had more control and it was manual. If so, guess i might be skipping this PC release then

Imagine thinking pressing buttons = feeling like Spider-man.
Imagine feeling like flying a plane in Microsoft Flying Simulator by just pressing buttons.

No experienced player would play the game that way though. There are many ways for players to increase their speed and feel more badass Spiderman.

I highly doubt the people who say web swinging sucks in Spiderman PS4 have actually played Spiderman 2 in recent years. At times the web swinging feels clunky as fuck in that game.

That's not true. If you dont hit X while releasing R2 and press it again to swing, you'll just continue to hang and swing on the same web. Traversing in a Spiderman game shouldn't be difficult at all though. It's a game for all ages.

it's semi manual, you have control over it but not nearly as much as in the old games like Spider Man 2

it's basically "assisted" to a point. it always tries to keep you moving. you can't hold on to a web for as long as you want for example, at some point he will let go automatically.

in Spider-Man 2 you could literally do loops on your web, or swing back and forth forever if you wanted.
also you later of course unlocked the ability to use both hands independently from eachother for further optimisation of your swings

Well. You press buttons and control a stick on a plane. At least that is accurate.

Meh. So USM is still king.

WTF......please lock this thread. This is an unlrealistic representation of the game on the PC. Everyone who games on the PC sports a 3090 or higher, 128 GB of ram, dual athlon CPU, and a .06 TB ssd.

Imagine being a pc gamer needing £1k GPUs to run games like this that are console users old games. PC gamers.must be desperate to be salvating over this.

Not a fan of curved monitors. Fucks with your vision/perception after.
actually no, quite the opposite. The geometry of the 2d picture gets warped because you got diffrent distances to your eyes to the edges of a display compared to the middle. So a curved Monitor that brings those Edges closer to the same distance as the center of your monitor counter acts that.
