I suppose this isn't canon with the MCU (or takes place several years in the future, lol). I'm okay with that, as long as they make it an amazing stand-alone.

I'm happy Insomniac landed this gig. They've got a great relationship with Sony and they've got fantastic developers. Their last few games haven't gotten the sales they deserved, despite being really great. This is a great opportunity for them.

Visuals look great, that's for sure.

I hope they nail the combat. I wasn't really a fan of the Beenox Spider-man games and I kind of felt bad they didn't iterate on the Web of Shadows combat/combo system. It felt like being Spider-man.
