Did this too. Thought I was going crazy lol.

The worst thing about the dynamo roller isn't even the speed, it's that it uses up all your ink in 5 seconds.
Blaster series weapons are definitely my calling card. The kits are seemingly unagreeable, but that just means I have to work harder and I'm starting to appreciate that. It's kind of strange because in Splatoon 1 I absolutely hated blasters. I thought "why would anyone use a weapon this slow and ink inefficient"? But I decided in this game to give them a fair shot once I unlock them all and at first I felt they were still bad, but with more uses I started to gravitate towards them more and more. And now, they're usually the weapons I'm most comfortable with for any type of battle! The Luna is hands down my favorite one to use because it's kit is literally "balls to the walls" (lol) and it feels good to get in the enemy's face and rush them down!
Overtime pisses me off sometimes though. Even when it's to my advantage.Coming back in splat zone is amazing. We were down 100-4 and as soon as we took control we never let them go again.
Edit: omg it ain't over till its over. Came back from 100-3 to win again haha.
Lmao that video is nuts

In back and forth, even matches, whoever happens to be in control in any ranked mode at the time of the clock ticking over has a huge second chance the other team did not get.

I think you should be required a knockout in TC and RM if it's extra time. So you get a chance for a proper win, but not a 'sneak one point over' win which is the unfair part, if you didn't manage to gain enough ground in regular time you shouldn't get a chance to grind a non KO win in extra time.Yeah I've definitely been on the losing end of that. Sucks when it happens in Rainmaker the most since the yeah whoever has final possession will always have a shot. That's why when we're up and there's like less than a minute left I stall like hell if I have the rainmaker lol. On the flip side in my last rainmaker game I was on the winning end thanks to OT. It was pretty nice seeing my teammate patiently waiting for us to clear a path then once we cleared the way he breezed through for the closest to the goal win.
Is it possible that people can make it to B+ rank and not know how Tower Control works? I was literally the only member of my team on the tower and the only one trying to take the lead as the clock was counting down. Everyone else was camping and chasing people around, for the entire match. I've never experienced that before.
Maybe they're thinking that somebody from their team will ride the tower while they keep the enemies busy fighting them. They just so happen to think the same thing lol.
SOOO over this salmon run. Im back down to go-getter, where people REALLY dont know how to play, making us lose even more matches.
Kill me.
Yo, when is this new Salmon Run stage going to be in the game? Just saw it on the Switch news app thing...
Is Ninja Squid crazy popular in S+ all of a sudden, or is it just me? It doesn't seem to be slowing anyone down.
I'm finding some success with .52 and point sensors (please buff ink consumption!), but I'm basically off the objective and hunting players - 2 or 3 is unmanagable.
Is a "meta" taking shape? Because I know I have to play an anti-ninja flanker (sploosh, tri-slosher, brush, splat w/burst) with high ink cost subs (sensors, disruptors) or situations gear perks (haunt, thermal ink) to deal with it.
Once the nerf happened in S1, you rarely saw anyone running Ninja Squid. I don't know if we still have the scientists breaking down the speed reduction, but I'm wondering if it's enough.
I've always used ninja squid for my short to mid range shooters even with the nerf. Here's my current buildIs Ninja Squid crazy popular in S+ all of a sudden, or is it just me? It doesn't seem to be slowing anyone down.

Japan has a suggestion for the next Splatfest theme:
Squids Who Don't Pick Up Eggs vs. Squids Who Don't Put In Eggs

Why the fuck are there so many bad players on S+
ninja squid is always useful if you're always getting in short-range duels
Guys try playing on Grayscale from the Switch's System Settings
It's great lol
The ๖ۜBronx;246875954 said:Ninja Squid for me if I'm going in ranked. Such a useful ability. Sucks you don't have it for Splatfests though.
It ain't just S+, because I've definitely been noticing more and more Ninja Squid users who have clearly formed a playstyle around the ability - rather than just people perhaps new to the game thinking the ability seems cool without having actually integrated it into their actual approach overal.
Been noticing a lot of Brush, Tri-Slosher and Luna users skating around with Ninja + usually a bunch of swim speed and ink resistance, and they're usually running offense in TC and RM, disrupting our front line/defensive positions.
Kinda reminds me of how I used to play when I mained the Sploosh in Splatoon 1; sneaking my way to an advantageous spot behind enemy lines, dropping a bunch of Beacons and then throwing myself at the enemy with enough unpredictability to reduce the overall friction for my team's push.
-Lost Outpost in Salmon Run Saturday night
-Manta Maria probably in the rotation all weekend
-Splatfest voting starts (aka ability chunk farming).
Going to be busy with Splatoon most of this weekend.
Most of these were in the US version were slightly different names.Callie and Marie gave some special names to special weapons if you use them at the end of match, so I try to find if there's some from Off the Hook.
In S1
Use Inkstrike at the end: Final Crystal Dust(ファイナルクリスタルダスト
Share Barrier at the end with everyone: Eternal Phalanx Omega(エターナルファランクスΩ
Use Bomb Rush at the end: Infinite Tears of Heaven(ティアーズオブヘブン∞
S2
Use TentaMissiles at the end: Happy Ending Twinkle Star?
that did not go so well for me https://youtu.be/wq1jPCkVhbk
