Out of about 20 attempts, I only managed to finish two games yesterday evening. Was really disappointing, as I wanted to try more of Kelp Dome. =(

Was the weakest member of my team in ranked but twice I got my special charged and bubbled my entire team in a 4v4 in the splat zone. Not much more satisfying.
 
Anyone know how long a Spike order stays valid for? I ordered some Ink Resistance shoes but havent been on in more than a day, does the order stay until I choose to order something else?
 
Anyone know if you can play ranked matches with a friend?

Both me and my girlfriend love this game, and have a Wii U each ( had seperate consoles before we moved in together)

tempted to get another copy so we can play online together. How have people found playing with friends, is it worth it?

That's when it was horrid for me as well. Just tried a match on my lunch break. Every member of the opposing team timed out then dropped and yet the match continued to the end.. weird shit is happening in Nintendoland, I'm telling you.

You can jump into the same room with someone on your friends list for Turf Wars, but the teams are mixed up for each match, so you won't always be guaranteed to be on the same team. Come August there'll be an update so that players can set up their own teams.

There hasn't been any specific mention of ranked teamplay, so I wouldn't really count on it. But I don't intend to rule it out!

This might not be your jam, but usually I don't mind playing with gaffers and against gaffers in Turf Wars. It's a good learning experience for me, as it sometimes forces me to try different tactics that might be expected of me, and I get to see how well I match up against other folks here >:)

not doing so well vs other gaffers :P

I appreciate this era of Nintendo so much for playing with their details so much. Mario Kart 8, Smash and Splatoon have been incredible about this stuff and it really helps to make the games all have a strong sense of place and character to themselves.
 
I think this new weapon rollout will be a really fun night, seems like a good solid weapon that will be fun to clash with others on. Suction bombs EVERYWHERE all night. Lots of rapid paint coverage.

But if you can get it done for less, go for it, i didn't really do this to get money in the first place (but i won't say no if earn some, LOL).

Is anyone else having problems connecting to a game? I thought it was my internet connection at first, but I had tested both Mario Kart 8 & Super Smash Bros. 4, and there were few (if any) hiccups while playing those games. But either keep getting disconnected or players will sporadically teleport across the map.

Yeah the past couple of days have had a few moments of spottiness for me. Lots of people seem to be reporting this now. It's weird because the experience was mostly flawless for the first week or so
 
Ooooo you know what... I feel that the Squid Beakon doesn't really make sense on the Krak-On Roller, but if paired with a Paintbrush, it can be used to basically let your team be in so many places it'd be hilarious. I hope in the future that a Custom PB or a PB Deco comes with Squid Beakon!

Absolutely! Sometimes I play races in MK8 in time trial just look around certain courses and admire the details. Especially on Superbell Subway where there's a ton of silly posters and "advertisements" haha
 
Jesus, just had my very first ranked match where my team won through overtime. We were down by a good margin, managed to take control at the end, and overtime started. Once we got one point higher than the enemy team, we took it.

Whew...that might be all the ranked I can handle for one day.

Okay, I was afraid of that. Until that hiccup is fixed, I'm just going to stay in the Regular Battle Playlist, as I don't want my rank to go down through technical problems.
