Can anyone confirm or deny if Batman is only in flashbacks?
He said not bad, but dissapointing, our expectations were pretty grounded. Specially myself, I'm expecting a Marvel B tier movie at best, gamechanger this one wasn't going to be. This one is for the General Audience. You'd think mans would freak out more at that impression bomb The One and Done just dropped, but surprisingly DC-GAF is holding it together.

From what I've read so far, only flashbacks and the mid credit scene.
Thor/Iron Man 3 tier. Forgettable but passable, "fun".Marvel-tier is pretty vague. IMO more than half of the MCU is good-great, while the rest are aggressively mediocre - which sounds like One and Done's impressive lol

And with that I'm dropping my prediction to 65-70.

Fuck that. Hype destroyed. Was expecting Batman to wreck some shit in 3rd act.
There's literally no reason anyone should have expected that. His presence in all the trailers that featured him was very minimal. It was obvious that he wasn't going to be any significant part of the movie.
I could see why someone would expect a lot of Joker but I have no idea why you expected Batman to have a substantial role.Fuck that. Hype destroyed. Was expecting Batman to wreck some shit in 3rd act.

While I never expected him to be in the film a whole lot. He has been in every trailer and a huge part of the marketing. I've seen more joker then most of the actual Squad members. People expecting him to be a big part of the movie is on the marketing not them.
Because if you're bringing Batman into your hundred million dollar budget movie your audience expects him to do something aside from showing up in flashbacks...I could see why someone would expect a lot of Joker but I have no idea why you expected Batman to have a substantial role.
The movie is called Suicide Squad.Because if you're bringing Batman into your hundred million dollar budget movie your audience expects him to do something aside from showing up in flashbacks...
DAY ONE. This sounds super fun.Full movie breakdown. Seems legit.
We see how all the Suicide Squad is captured, except Slipknot. Then we see Amanda Waller try to convince a table of US officials to allow her to operate Task Force X.
Then the Enchantress breaks loose and gets her brother out of the jar and they reign terror on the Midway City subway
The government activates Task Force X and the villains are all sent out to Rick Flagg. The squad is on a need to knoe basis, the audience knows what theu have to do but they aren't told much. Katana shows up at the end of this scene
Their helicopter crashes in the city and all the squad survives. They head into town and Captain Boomerang convinces Slipknot to escape with him, and Slipknor tries to rapple up some buildings and gets his head blown off. Which Cap wanted so he now knows that the head bombs aren't a bluff.
They fight through the town and eventually reach Amanda Waller and her agents in a bunker. Amanda Waller shoots every angent in the bunker, because like she said earlier no one can know about this.
They get to the roof and a helicopter shows up, they realize it's hijacked and throw themselves on the ground. And out of the back we see Joker cackling and shooting his gold AK at everyone, on a mission to break out Harley. Because he captured a scientist earlier in the movie who remotely disabled her neck bomb. This is the scene where Harley smiles and jumps on the rope hanging down from the helicopter and they try to escape.
The joker and Harley quinn dont make it far, with their Helicopter being shot down. The Joker pushes Harley out of the Helicopter onto a roof and the helicopter crashes out of the frame. We just see the explosion from behind a building.
Harley goes back to the Squad obviously trying not to cry and they go off back on their adventure. Amanda Waller gets captured by the Enchantress and uses her mind to access all the locations of secret bases.
Deadshot soon finds out what is exactly going on, because he swiped some.files from Rick Flagg. All the squad basically quits and head into the bar, Katana included. They have their drinks and then Will Smith gives a pep talk about how far they made it. Then Rick Flagg shows back up downs a drink and tells them he screwed up and how he must stop the Enchantress and tells them they can go if they want. Cap Boomerang bolts off of course. But the rest stay and go with him on his mission, Cap joining back in.
They fight up the building until they reach where the enchantress is and they fight. El Diablo sacrificing himself to kill Incubus, the brother of Enchantress.
They fight some more and eventually they destroy the enchantress, but June Moon is able to survive.
The squad thinks they're free but Waller shows back up and sends them back to prison, but letting them all have a gift. Like Deadshot gets some visitation from his daughter and Harley Quinn an espresso machine.
Then at the very end of the movie we're in Harley's cell and the wall blows open, and the Joker and his crew appear garbed in military gear and they rescue her.
I feel that the amount of screen time batman has had in the trailers is an accurate reflection of his role in the movie.Because if you're bringing Batman into your hundred million dollar budget movie your audience expects him to do something aside from showing up in flashbacks...
The movie is called Suicide Squad.
What, all of them?
Does he not torture Harleen in to Harley now?
Yeah there is. Many People who have seen the movie have said the entire sequence where Harley shoots the truck driver confronts Joker isn't in the movieI watched that whole video and the interviewer said he thought Joker was redeemable and Leto made no attempt to agree with him even when the guy was baiting it. There's no mention of any removed scenes except for one with Harley using the bat like a shotgun.

and yes even recent trailers have shown this scene, it's the scene where he slaps his hands together. Also the grenade scene is out completely. We never see Joker with his half face fucked up. Mumblings of early test screenings mentioned him scolding a d throwing her out of the helicopter(that Rolling Stone still of Jared scolding Harley kind of backs this up), which is no longer the case.![]()
Idk I see it myself tonight so I'll report back what's all been removed.
What, all of them?

Is Leto's Joker similar to other versions of the character? Say, Joker from Batman: The Animated Series? He does. Joker is still Joker, fucked up and killing people. Just less because Ayer didn't want Suicide Squad to be Joker's movie, he wanted it to obviously be Suicide Squad's movie. Its just a taste of what Leto can do, go into the movie with that in mind and you'll appreciate it.

I can't really say actually, Leto just brings his own style with a mix of the crazy Joker we've seen in the past. He's gangsta when he wants to be and down right cold blooded when the time is right. Is Leto's Joker similar to other versions of the character? Say, Joker from Batman: The Animated Series?
Just don't overhype yourself and you'll enjoy it, like I've been saying in the OT. A few people I chatted with were slightly disappointed because they overhyped themselves but they still enjoyed it.Maaaaan your impressions are giving me life. I am now mentally prepared for Tuesday. Let's do this thang.
If you can find a picture it will probably help me but I don't believe so. Though I felt his wardrobe was well done, like all the other characters.Does Joker wear the lime-green Batman suit seen in some of the collectibles?
Does harley wants to go back to her or is she going .... vegetarian ?
I can dig it.I can't really say actually, Leto just brings his own style with a mix of the crazy Joker we've seen in the past. He's gangsta when he wants to be and down right cold blooded when the time is right.
Please don't tell me this is a Joker lineSHE'S THE ITCH IN MY CROTCH!
lmao
Please don't tell me this is a Joker line
It's when he is babbling and bragging about how great Harley is to Common's character in the club.
You saw it?
The trailers looked like a lot of fun.
To say that I knew this movie would turn out lame would be like saying I knew expired milk would be spoiled.
SHE'S THE ITCH IN MY CROTCH!
lmao love some of the Joker's lines in this. I can see where the whole sending condoms things makes sense now bwaha, completely blindsided by some of it
