...and then a secret challenge match pops up.

Fuck.

Despite being one of the simplest games, it's still pretty deep on harder difficulties. You really have to watch your aim as well as your speed when bumping and setting.

When they let you loose and make the game harder it is infinately more fun. So hard but so rewarding.

You unlock the G.R.E.G dummy as a playable character by beating all of the tutorials on bronze and silver levels for every sport - also, for all 6 sports there is an unlockable character; you have to beat the gold cup in that sport and then beat the character in a special challenge to unlock them.

I have played Table Tennis for years, and I still can't believe how good this game is.

That should bring up some kind of music control menu overlay. I'd like to see a volume slider, a jog dial and next/prev track options. And shuf/repeat stuff.

I had several problems in Gladiators until I realized that I was waggling the low attacks. I learned to bash and stop with the sword, and I made some perfect rounds.

So like, are their technical reasons why Sports Champions doesn't have online? Has Sony talked about this at all? It seems like input lag > net lag at this point, so that shouldn't be an issue. Online table tennis with a live video feed of your opponent would have basically been Move's killer launch app. I really feel like they dropped the ball on this one, it would have been something that could totally set them apart from Wii/Kinect.

A few of the Kinect games have online multiplayer at launch, so given that Move seems to have less input lag I don't see why it should be too much of a problem. Lag wouldn't even be an issue at all for take-your-turn games like Archery and Bocce.

I have the opposite problem. I can smash fine from the right with my right hand but i cant from the left. Its weird. In about 15 matches i have managed it only once.

This game alone, with a robust online, a single player campaign with staged tournments and a ranking table, and vast costumization scheme for your character would be the killer app to Move. So, so good.

Yes. But the first stages can be a fun and accessible enough experience to make it more "arcadey"... It's the full package!

The only advice I can offer you is to leave that last game with Kenji to another day. If you play it fresh, and in tip-top form, you will make it. It worked for me!

I tried volleyball for the first time yesterday and it was quite fun, so far my least favorite one is frolf, sorry frolfboys but i just don't like it. My second move controller arrives tomorrow, can't wait to try dual wielding in Gladiator and Archery as well as multiplayer in TT

Actually I think that's exactly what you're supposed to be doing. If you crouch your gladiator will crouch as well too.

Actually I think that's exactly what you're supposed to be doing. If you crouch your gladiator will crouch as well too.

Sounds nice. I'll get back to it when I tire of TT. Got my ass handed to me in the first silver match. But after getting to grips with less AI assists I managed to beat the first 4 silver matches.

Noooo, I just can't beat Kat (9th opponent) in Champion cup in Table Tennis. Although, I have just today for the first time glanced at Leaderboards, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I am 3rd. Weehaa, didn't even think I would be in the top 1000, because these latter opponents make me feel like I am a lousy player. :lol But this brought my spirit back up.

SO I'm in the bonus championship for Table Tennis. Gotta say there is definitely some serious Rubber AI in this, and it's really annoying actually. Not sure if I'm gonna continue playing with that crap on.
