Sorry, but, as far as I know, there isn't another movie apart from this 1989 second series one (http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/lineup/tv/sally_2nd/ and http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/lineup/category/movie/), as the 1966 first series doesn't have a special as a finale (http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/lineup/tv/sally/). Unless you used the word 'film' as a broader term that includes old TV series productions (I don't know all the meanings of that word myself), in that case, sorry for the intromission.
It was fucking Sally? Ah, c'mon, guys... Couldn't you just say so?

I see there were IRC shenanigans :p glad I missed it...

The AnoHana thing was more in reference to themes from Wandering Son.

And thematically? In terms of identity?
Spoiler for the very end of today's new episode of AnoHana.

Someone predicted a few eps ago that Yukiatsu would dress up as Menma. He did.

Well, yeah, I did that as a joke.
I thought you were saying it was much more abstract though, for some reason. :)

Congratulations on beating everyone else to the use of the word "megaton".

Sometimes I'm on the ball you know.

I like that list btw, A-Channel at #6. Thats quality right there.

Whoa. Those probably aren't what I think they are, but I wonder who stepped up to the plate? ;P

In a series that places more emphasis on management philosophies than baseball, the last two episodes have been a bit refreshing with more focus being brought to the tournament. It also made way for some tense moments… no thanks to Yunosuke. I wish someone would kick that guy in the teeth.

Not a lot of you are watching this, but I'll give this a shot anyway. I've never watched or played baseball so I'm entirely foreign to the concept of "pinch runners." What was shown was legal, right?

Just two episodes left.
After episode 7, who didn't see that coming? Wonder how Minami will pull through.

"Still sells for 200 rupees apiece". Then someone in here added "an unfabulous" after "for".
And that was because you were ragging on something about Star Driver, wasn't it?

You guys are cruel, already talking about today's AnoHana at 10am PST. I hate having to avoid this thread for the whole day on Thursdays.

Also, we got the Trigun movie dub cast:

* Johnny Yong Bosch as Vash The Stampede
* Luci Christian as Meryl Stryfe
* Trina Nishimura as Milly Thompson
* Brad Hawkins as Nicholas D. Wolfwood
* Colleen Clinkenbeard as Amelia
* John Swasey as Gasback

Haly

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
I'm only upset that Dawg Dayz beat out Denpa Onna.

Still, furries gotta fur I guess.

Sket Dance 5

And now it turns into a battle series. JK, but the student council's appearance is where stuff REALLY starts IIRC.

Trapeze 4

I wonder how Geneijin will react to all this news. We he burn with the fire of a thousand exploding suns?
I ain't even mad anymore. He's slowly turning into my favorite character of the series over Anaru.

Take that as however you will.

Unless you guys meant this, it really doesn't matter. I don't see what's the significance of this!

What's so good about Biglobe? What makes their votes matter more than others!

Your resignation is very disappointing!

Seeing the information about that feature in this month Newtype magazine (http://www.khara.co.jp/news/2011/05/000142.html), I have the impression we won't see any new information about the next Rebuild of Evangelion movie. It seems to present so much information centered about the establishment of Studio Khara (or χαρα) and its management, with so many interviews and even a photographic report of their probably new working place (as apparently they aren't anymore in the same office they've been since the studio's foundation, http://johakyu.net/archives/2011/03/2011-03-07-001080.php) that I think they'll show nothing concerning the actual production related data, and will reserve it for a (coming soon) number when Kadokawa Shoten (probably) will announce their now usual new Rebuild of Evangelion movie promotional campaign.

What do you guys think? Do you think we will see some new information about the upcoming movie? Maybe the release date? Someone already knows the contents of the magazine?

Also, I still don't know what changes (if any) presents that The Five Star Stories Reboot re-edition of the illustrated novels.

No, there was a film in 1975 that this one was loosely based on.
Oh! I didn't know that there was another movie. Thanks for the information! So, this one wasn't produced by Toei Animation, right? It doesn't appears on their own animation films catalog...
