Yeah, but I really shouldn't feel like a snob when the shows I'm watching are CGDCT shows. Really it's not that much better than Naruto or One Piece. I blame the fact that before I really got into this medium I was still aware of Naruto, Bleach, One Piece etc fans as a result of the vocal Internet lot which likely coloured my perception and they were pretty easy to make fun of.

This train of thought is the result of having walked passed a group of friends(?) on Saturday who were dressed up in Attack of Titan outfits and I did feel like I did look down upon them which is really rather wrong.But the people I will look down upon with no feeling of guilt are those who still buy standard flavoured Pocky. You can buy it in the shops for the fraction of the price under the name Mikado. It's the same thing, it even says Glico (the Japanese company behind Pocky) on the box! They are literally buying it for the name!

Yeah it makes me feel bad that I act like this sometimes because I know I totally could get called out on the stuff I watch sometimes and who the heck am I to act so high and mighty?

Hell I could probably make some friends too if I was a bit more open, who knows though.

Recently found two seasons of "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" in my folder and wondered what that is and why I downloaded it. Turning into it I remembered reading a reddit comment that mentioned that show as being his favorite Shaft work, so I decided to check it out. Just forgot about it for some weeks :<

Anyways, finished the third episode some time ago and man, it's really good. Great soundtrack and quite funny so far. I'm not a big fan of putting in real faces for censoring or other funny jokes but eh, I can deal with that.

Bebop is definitely still a great anime, but there's a lot of anime that I like much more than it. I don't even think I'd put it in my top 10. Maybe my top 20. I tend to really like strange, surrealist stuff though, so I guess I'm different that way.

With some more Lucky Star Figmas! That one of Tsukasa is the same one I got all those years ago.

When I first started collecting figures, I bought two complete sets of these little Lucky Star trading figures. They weren't very detailed, but they were the only ones on the market at the time. I was new to watching anime then, so as I watched more I became determined to get at least one figure from every show I watched. That fell apart very quickly.

Still, I was so happy when the Lucky Star Figmas came out; I finally had much more detailed versions of my favorite characters. Then they put out the petit Nendoroid sets. I managed to collect all but one of those. I think there's a petit Nendoroid of Konata dressed as Saber that I'm missing. It's kind of pointless to get it now, since I have the full-sized version.

also who enjoyed Kaiji/Akagi would probably like other works from him, like Ten (sequel to Akagi), Zero (classic genius, last arc wasn't really great though) and Buraiden Gai. sadly the only anime adaptation he got is Akagi and just 2 seasons of Kaiji.

How can you do a sequel to an ongoing series like Akagi.

It would not just be expensive, but impractical and impossible in some cases. Some anime I started watching had no figures at all, others had figures that were long out of print, others had figures but not of the characters I liked. Then I started watching anime that I ended up not even liking, and it became "why would I even want a figure from this terrible show?" That's why it fell apart so fast.

Wasn't it, that the only reason they're not offically a pair because of the gap and him waiting on her getting legal? The age gap is 7 years, it's not really that much. Only barrier is that Shiro is indeed very young - the reason why he waits.
Could've mixed up with wishful thinking of fans, but I really can't see Sora with someone else.

Just watched Hunter x Hunter 136. Served as a nice epilogue to the Chimera Ant arc, and a good set-up for the next arc. Still, I couldn't help but think that this arc would have been so much more concise and better paced if they cut out/didn't focus on certain characters. For example,

I really feel we wouldn't have lost much if we didn't have those episodes about the octopus and the wolf. Even the stuff with Palm becoming a chimera ant felt unnecessary with how late it actually happened.

I still would place this arc as my second favorite, since I think it has a lot of good in it. Interesting characters, great fight scenes, scenes that defied my expectations, and a pretty disturbing vibe overall. Yet this is an arc that absolutely could have benefited from trimming the fat, and here there is a lot of fat to trim.
