Unico: Black Rain and White Feather
This has been on the backburner for a while as well after I watched the two main Unico movies. It's apparently a pilot film for a tv series that never launched and I assume it hinted at the overarching plotline of Unico making people happy then having to be snatched away by the West Wind which would make for easy episodic stories.
It has a strong ecological theme about unchecked industrialization can be harmful to everyone that's addressed by Unico infiltrating and destroying a factory. The soundtrack is rather fitting and it's wonderfully animated on top of that. It's definitely not the acid trip the other two movies are but that's not necessarily a bad thing in this case. It's shame we didn't get a full tv series like this.

So FUNico has finally announced their 'simulcasts' for the Spring lineup. I guess it may be a good thing I am going to wait a few weeks before I start any of the Spring titles.

biggest problem I have with Fate Zero right now is that a lot of the male dudes have really similar faces AND vocal 'tone'.
Let's hope CR is after Eureka Seven Ao and Hyouka cause the rest of unlicensed shows are shit.

Actually, as far as a sport show played straight goes, this is probably the best of the three that are currently airing. There's no real forced drama (no dead brothers here) or super magical powers... just kids who want to play soccer.
Kobayashi's voice is still smexy, even if she's playing a boy. That's reason enough for me to stick around anyhow.
It's too bad that this show will probably disappear into the nether regions of the internet as the show no one cares about this season (there's always one or two shows that no one picks up). But at least it's simple enough to understand if you're interested in watching it though.

For those who don't need translation and can work around any applicable territory restrictions, Medaka Box, Natsuiro no Kiseki, Cardfight, and Dusk Maiden are on NicoNico Japan (Dusk Maiden isn't free except for ep 1).
Acchi Kocchi, E7 Ao, Hyouka, and AKB0048 don't have streams announced in Japan, either.
Queen's Blade Rebellion is also on NicoNico Japan later this month, paid rental only.
Normally NicoNico doesn't have the uncensored AT-X version of shows, but the fact that even the first episode isn't free might be a good sign. Wouldn't get my hopes up, though.
Thanks, post edited for clarity. I'm still not sure what percentage of Anime-Gaf is fluent in Japanese anyway (or just wants to watch without needing to know what's being said).

I like the tricks that Urd is constantly doing and it gives the show more life than the whole married couple of Keiichi and Belldandy. Next episode is the Campus Queen episode, which I am looking forward to.

I posted about it last week. It's really just a Japanese version of Aesop's Fables segments from Rocky and Bullwinkle. If you are interested in Japanese fables and their own simple morality plays, it's worth watching.
The first segment of the first episode is essentially about karma, for example.

It's exactly what it says. If you want Japanese grandparents to sit you down and tell you stories of long ago with simple storybook illustrations, it'll deliver.

Maybe for Lancer but not for Rider, Rider is too over the top, Waver is cooler.

They are guns. They also shoot guns. Like, the guns they shoot are themselves so in essence what you are seeing is them manifesting into their own weapons and

Azumanga Daioh and Digimon Frontier are the only 2 things I watched from that list and from the looks of it I haven't missed much outside of maybe Twelve Kingdoms
