I liked the beardog and when Korra was beating up on dudes. The sexual tension between that one guy and Korra is like totally uncool, they should introduce a girl so it can be a proper yuri animu.

Underlying homoerotic tension is truly a better qualifier for anime than the country of origin.
The show is like totally amazing. The first season had a slow start, but this rocks and jazzes!
If I knew it was this good I could not have waited any longer than to last saturday to finally see it. So I am very happy that we got Korra this early in the year.
(When the announcement came people/cynists even went as far as speculating for spring 2013 as an air date)

Addendum: I never finished Avatar, mostly because the main character was a dude (plus he was bald a lot of the time) since Korra is a girl (and is never bald) it's already way better.
P.P.S: I like the character animation more than the fighting stuff but sometimes it looks derpy, I dunno. Oh and it has lots of really fugly cg buildings and cars all over the place, no thanks.
Korra is in the OP, looks like animu and so it's basically animu. (Per the great Branduil v. duckroll debate of the previous thread)
