Oh and because I promised that I'd make a post about the London MCM, now that I actually had time to get things sorted, first of all, pick-ups! Can anyone identify those Cells btw?

This was basically my first convention of this sort. Was pretty fun overall though I did miss Watanabe on both days I went. I'll live with that though.

5GBP each. I regret not picking up a few Fist of the North Stars ones I found for a tenner now. And some 08th MS Team ones. But There was a 30 minute queue at the cash machine and I was lazy.

They had a couple more but I didn't pick them up because they didn't take debit cards and didn't have time to draw more cash at that point. Would have also bought some EVA ones and Yukata Lum if it wasn't for that.

I know what that's like. I have a $400 limit on my debit card and it makes it difficult sometimes. Also if you try to debit more than a couple large purchses at once they put a hold on it. Happens a lot in dealers rooms. So I bring a credit card as backup.

Really, they aren't that expensive unless it's something very very popular. If you ever go to a convention like MCM I'd reckon you'd be able to find some.

Cel booths seem to be a dying breed at the conventions I go to (Anime-Expo), but I'll definitely give it a better look this year. The $400.00+ ones they display are kind of like a scarecrow for me, I guess.

Sorry Julian! You may be an ace at strategy and know your way with space battle axes, but talking to women is not something easily learned! Pretty funny episode overall, with lots of nice banter between the Yang crew members. I feel like it might be one of the last episodes that's gonna happen.
I think I remember Commodore Fork correctly as an early rival of Yang in the Alliance's military bureaucracy back when Yang first became a Commodore himself. Looks like he got drugged by the Terraists.

London MCM had a bunch of booths. One was just with cells which was selling them framed, those run from a tenner to 35 with some more expensive ones. 08th MS Team ones run for 30 for example but a Zaku could run you 100 quid and the most expensive were some Pokemon ones surprisingly.
There were other smaller booths selling though. Usually among other stuff. The guy I got those from basically had them in 2 large binders priced at 5 quid each and 12 quid each respectively. So I could have grabbed tons of them.
The thing to note here is that when cells were actually used, companies were literally throwing them in the garbage. You could dumpster dive outside studios and get EVA cells if you went after production.
That's where most of these originated.

More Sweetpets movie pimping. This time, the Milky Way has a cavity from eating too many sweets and the Jewelpets and Sweetpets have to band together to fix it.

I'll repeat that: the Milky Way (yes, that Milky Way) has a cavity.

Beyond that detail, it's kind of weird that on the one hand they're trying to promote sweets as desirable things and on the other hand they're showing kids that eating them will rot your teeth away. I guess the moral is: Eat as many sweets as you can before all your teeth have to be pulled out?

Some of the food rules and thinking of being in gratitude were hilarious while others were alright. Payoff for enduring was great as shown in this episode and they can only improve more. It took awhile but its getting better.

Wakamoto makes everything awesome. It's funny, even the "dramatic" episode of the season is played for laughs. Total improvement over S1.
