*brofist*It should chart even higher. It's one of the best OP songs in the past few seasons. Up there with Psycho-Pass OP 1
I think you're one of the few people here who liked it. Such a good song.

That's most magical girl anime. :X
Strange way to type Bokura wa Ima no Naka de.It should chart even higher. It's one of the best OP songs in the past few seasons. Up there with Psycho-Pass OP 1 and Utakoi's OP
I liked the second one better, but it's because I'm a big fan of the band so...SECRET REMAINS FOR YOU
(I liked it as well)
I find fans who openly admit to having yuri fetishes criticizing shows for being "fujoshibait" to be so hilariously hypocritical.
Already done ages ago.
Though admittedly my first experience with the Magic Knight Rayearth story was the Sega Saturn game. :O
Nah, most magical girl anime put them in vague yurigoggles range, but tend not to commit to anything either way(except the occasional heterosexual relationship).
I guess Nanoha is a mild escalation of the former.
Then you have shows where the brakes start sliding off everywhere, like Mai Hime/Otome. <_<

CAUSE I FEEEEEEEEEEEEL
The screaming and the beat just work out so well together.*brofist*

No, no. That's the exact reason I dislike the concept of fujoshibait (even if I can enjoy fujoshibait): the lack of female characters! It's actually perfectly logical.
I got bored of Psycho-Pass before the 2nd OP started so I haven't seen it yet.
You missed out on all the excitement of wondering if the show would finish before they finalised the 2nd OP.
[Diebuster]: 1 - 6
The only scene me was the "Ten Years Later" segment.
I was wrong to dislike this show because it wasn't enough like Gunbuster, it has a whole host of problems that have nothing to do with how dissimilar (or similar) it is to the original OVA.
Which isn't to say I dislike like it at all, just that it has a number of glaring issues which drag the whole thing down.

I don't think anyone should go into that show expected a sequel or anything of that nature. That said, I certainly think it did things better and worse than the original.
Well the problem is that they bill it in that nature and they make lots of important deliberate connections to the old material which forces you to make that comparison even though it's not really appropriate.
I try to think of it as a sequel or successor to FLCL. Except without the memorable music. Except in those scenes where they borrow the Gunbuster score.
MKR actually feels like a videogame the way the anime was structured. I expected someone to say "its dangerous to go alone, take this!".
Actually, they sort of did.
I don't think any sane person ever argued against that. What I'm trying to say is that it is, indeed, apples to oranges but still Gunbuster > Diebuster.

First (correctly) declaring that the Akira movie is better, now this. You're on a roll! What I'm trying to say is that it is, indeed, apples to oranges but still Gunbuster > Diebuster.

Shrug. I definitely preferred Die over Gun.
Tell that to wonzo
Ultimately neither are really that good.
Gunbuster loses a lot of points from episode 3 being absolutely terrible; Diebuster's episode 3 is pretty great, on the other hand.
Ultimately neither are really that good.
The appeal of both is primarily the ending; it's quite simply the best anime ending of all time.

That's wrong on both fronts, because you miss out on dat ending.Gunbuster and Diebuster are both the same, anyone can just watch the 4th episode of either series and get the only thing worthwhile from it.
I prefer yuri to straightshit, but I'm a sucker for shoujo-ish action shows in which a girl leads a group of men. Pretty much the only reason I watched a few episodes of the original Driland. The concept is kinda refreshing.

I can't possibly even partially agree with either of those opinions. Minus points.Ultimately neither are really that good.

Nah, the third episode of Diebuster is the worst episode about the worst girl. You know this because she immediately becomes a practically irrelevant background character straight away!

I prefer straight stuff to yurishit.
You know, maybe I will check out the Kenshin TV series.
Maybe.
