So my questions are the following. If you can answer them seriously that'd be amazing since it'd help with my research more. Thanks. If you want to hide your answers or PM them to me instead because you're uncomfortable that's fine.

1.) Do you view homosexual relationships portrayed in anime in a positive or negative light? Is it the same for both male only relationships and female only relationships or does it differ?

2.) What about the homosexual relationships in the anime appeal to you and why? If you hate it, why do you hate it?

3.) How does your perspective of homosexual relationships in anime affect your perception of homosexual relationship in real life.

4.) How does the homosexuality presented in anime affect you personally.

5.) Do you think the presentation of homosexual relationships is stereotypical, pandering, or a fairly good representation of it.

1. Positively. I like that they are allowed to occur. I prefer yuri, but yaoi has its fans and has a right to exist.

2. Anime doesnt try to pretend that they do not exist. Real life has such relationships and anime reflects that. I respect it. It can also be quite cute if certain tropes are applied.

3. It doesn't.

4. It doesn't.

5. I think they seem to be exaggerated in anime usually, and a lot of times for pandering fanservice, but they still depict relationships that can exist, which can slightly ground a show in reality. Slightly.

Oh yeah, and Sentai licensed Hentai Ouji (HENNEKO)... like it was going to be anyone else.

Amusingly enough, they're reusing the same boilerplate press release text as before, even though there's no way in hell it's going to make it to R1 home video in 2013.

Nice. Enjoyed this one.
Especially Pdot's avatars from it.

There never was, but at least her remaining supporters can abandon her as well.

Nah Chitanda is pretty awesome but yeah Mayaka is the queen of dull.

Neat interview with Toshihiro Kawamoto at Sakura-Con. They talk about old vs new in the industry, creating BONES, Gundam and Ed in Cowboy Bebop.
Ah, that's a fun interview, especially the part about how Ed's design is based (to an extent) on Yoko Kanno.

I also noticed this bit from his introduction:
I can not announce any titles right now, but there are two things that we are working on, that are unannounced by BONES. I really want to announce these two upcoming titles but unfortunately, we need to put off the announcements a little bit more.

I don't think they ever formally announced Space Dandy, so there's that. Hopefully the other show is Ando getting to work on something good.

Chitanda=Mayaka.
Branduil proving to be the voice of reason in an age of X > Y.

I can't believe there are people that actually prefer the old IS art to the new designs:
The only thing I can focus on is how freaking tight the uniform they're wearing in the new style appears to be.

I prefer straight stuff to yurishit.
I occasionally think about this but I would really, really enjoy more series to abandon the idea of love triangles.

I'm fine with perhaps another character being used a source of doubt in a developing relationship but the idea of "Boy X likes Girl 1, Girl 1 likes Boy X but now enter Girl 2 who is friends with both of them and now inexpilicably likes Boy 1 also causing the whole thing to fuck up and be dragged out forever."

Whenever I try and think of series without said love triangles though, I draw a blank. Probably because I spent too much of my youth watching haremshit.

Someone noticed something interesting in Sentai's company profile in their latest press release:
Sentai Filmworks celebrates its 5th Anniversary as one of the fastest-growing anime companies in North America, producing hit series like Persona 4, Girls und Panzer, Devil Survivor 2, Bodacious Space Pirates, Majestic Prince and High School of the Dead as well as high profile theatrical films such as Grave of the Fireflies, K-ON! and Appleseed.
Again, another probably obvious pickup, but it's funny to see they may have accidentally leaked it ahead of time.

people liked mayaka? All i remember was her having a completely random and kinda pointless 'manga drama'.

Question, a common problem with anime is 'same face', but other stuff are different like bust, hair, etc to hopefully differentiate the waifus.... but thighs. Can't think of many shows with differing thighs. all nothing, or all delicious.

K. Thanks to Articalys' help I figured out how to make my thingy a survey so you guys can do this anonymously. This would greatly help with my research for a class and on my paper so if you guys can answer this to the best of your ability and honestly, it'd help a lot. Thanks.

Yogi is pretty awesome, and Gareki too. Somehow the scene with him holding Gareki was quite memorable, hope they continue to have their own focused scenes in the future. Nai, I guess hes still good with Gareki plotwise, how they both still focus on each other, and perhaps must be favoring Gareki with that reveal
Karoku why you choose Eleska and then let Nai hear all of that, ugh.

Anime is still 2nd/3rd best anime this season, never a dull moment and even stays visually and musically a blast. More Circus scenes and hide and seek please!.

I want to see Raku, and at least hear who will voice Onodera and Shu. How many episodes would a Nisekoi even possibly have, 12 - 26 max?!

I hope it's' two cour but I assume it'll end up being 1 cour. Also, there's a video form of the manga and I love the voices they used on that version. I hope they stick wiht it.

The only thing I liked about Chitanda were her eyes. One dimensional character, ditzy behaviour thats not cute at all unless your a 12 year old and her inability to actually do some thinking of her own.

If the impression you got was that she can't do thinking on her own then you weren't watching very closely.
