Main character feels as if she is the closest we'll get to having a character like Rookie Policewoman Kiriko (WSJ) animated. Something always looks off with their faces in this, like their eyes are positioned awkwardly

Oh my god this is actually happening and not a joke.

They are making a Daily Lives of High School Boys live-action movie.
The film will tell a story of a school festival that is being jointly organized by Tadakuni, Yoshitake, and Hidenori's all-boys school and an adjacent all-girls school. The film will also feature a new original character named Saino.

Filming began for the movie in January, and has already wrapped up. Showgate will release the film in Japan this fall.

Is that a play on words for bust.
Well I know who I'm taking with me if I get tickets to a standup comedy show.

Part 2 releasing in september :p I think Cowboy bebop is worth the £60
1. I'd like it in one package.
2. Not even Cowboy Bebop is worth that. To think we were doing so well with the Madoka release and now this (yes I know the episode count is different)

Like most media, anime still represents non-heterosexual relationships mostly in a comedic way. Instances like that one girl in Yuru Yuri "raping" her friends are still too common. Homosexuality is mostly seen as a funny instance of sexual deviancy, not a valid sexual orientation that should be respected and integrated. There are a few exceptions to the norm, as is the case with most things.
Why would your expectation for a comedy show be a portrayal of realistic relationships?

The Photo Kano game must be super interesting, because the show is just boring with a hint of lewdness!

Wait, what?

Slam Dunk 75-84
The Inter High tournament is over, Shohuku played their final game against Ryonan, the favourites. It was breathtaking, the longest match in the anime. It spanned +-15 episodes, no wonder the show is 101 episodes. When the game was over, everyone was crying...

Then I took a small pause from Slam Dunk and watched Kuroko's OVA

This is about Kuroko's past when the Generation of Miracles was being formed. It was a nice little episode, unfortunatly we didn't get to see any games with all of the Generation of Miracles. The differences with Slam Dunk are great despite both revolving around basketball but more on that later when I'm finished watching Slam Dunk.

I know I said I would drop this show, but after reading Articalys' post about the second episode, I had to check it out. There were some good moments, but it's still inconsistent. I feel like the anime would benefit a lot from being like Muromi and having 10 mins episodes.

Yeah, there are some hit-or-miss moments with the gags, but I'm still impressed that Crunchyroll is translating the wordplay puns really well.

I don't think Yuru Yuri authors gave a jack shit about homosexuality, they just wanted lesbian little girls so otaku could jerk off to them.

If anything the objectification of women/lesbians is a bigger problem.

Because it perpetuates the stereotype that all homosexual people are always on the alert to take advantage of those innocent enough to spend time with them.
This seems like a pretty wild interpretation of the scene in question that cannot possibly be supported with any kind of evidence. In a show filled with homosexual undercurrents a single instance like this does nothing to cast a negative light on the sexual orientation as a whole.

Yuru Yuri is actually published in a manga magazine whose target audience is lesbians.

Man do I get a kick out of this show. Sure some of their jokes fall flat, but the ones that hit are great.

I hope "Mom" shows up more often in the following episodes, I want
some teacher x student yuri to happen
!

You're being sold false promises!

I'll be surprised if this show hurts me more than Strawberry Panic.

Well I'm guessing Namori does give a bit of a damn about their sexuality since it's published in Comic Yuri Hime. Also note that it apparently has 70% female readership so it would be a bit silly to plan a manga for the fapping otakus demographic.

This anime is really weird and has really weird hair. There's a lot of talk about cells and DNA and mitosis and I can't help but feel like watching any anime that involves giant robots that came out around the same time as Evangelion is just a bad idea. It's not that this is a bad show, it's just WEIRD AS HELL. I can never tell if it is a horror show or a comedy or a horror-comedy. It's just CRAZY.

Funny, though, was that there was the Scientist Woman said that Algernon is the greatest threat humanity has ever faced, which is something of a lie after the Zonder, Primevals, and Sol Masters. Maybe iit's just a bigger threat than BioNet.

Amazing, the episode was two minutes long this time. One day we'll get a full three-minute showing.

No lovely townscape this episode. Without the beautiful bg art there isn't much you can do with the runtime.
