Someone noticed something interesting in Sentai's company profile in their latest press release:

Again, another probably obvious pickup, but it's funny to see they may have accidentally leaked it ahead of time.

Gup was licensed? I had no idea about that. Also Sentai is somehow getting as prolific as ADV was. I have no idea how they are doing it.

K. Thanks to Articalys' help I figured out how to make my thingy a survey so you guys can do this anonymously. This would greatly help with my research for a class and on my paper so if you guys can answer this to the best of your ability and honestly, it'd help a lot. Thanks.

Eh, this wasn't that bad. Longest fight scene in the series so far I think (though sometimes it gets a little too dark for me to make out what's going on, but this certainly isn't the first thing to be guilty of that). One of the Elder Bairns speaks to Saya and tells her that they're the same as her, eating for their own good. Then it warns her to stop fighting them. Then she kills the Bairns that were there.

Lot of ominous music in this episode, notably in the scenes with Guimauve guy and the teacher. Wonder if that means anything. Saya also got to speak with that sketchy dude, but nothing really came out of that other than him questioning her definition of love.

Probably the best episode so far, though that's not saying a whole lot. But it was alright. Wonder where everything's going, though.

That was a lot better than I thought it would be. The battles looked pretty good any actually the rest of the animation did too. It certainly held some promise. Shame they made nothing else with the franchise!

Devil Survivor 2 01
Pretty terrible. I reckon DTL will love it though.

1.) Do you view homosexual relationships portrayed in anime in a positive or negative light? Is it the same for both male only relationships and female only relationships or does it differ?
Like most media, anime still represents non-heterosexual relationships mostly in a comedic way. Instances like that one girl in Yuru Yuri "raping" her friends are still too common. Homosexuality is mostly seen as a funny instance of sexual deviancy, not a valid sexual orientation that should be respected and integrated. There are a few exceptions to the norm, as is the case with most things.
2.) What about the homosexual relationships in the anime appeal to you and why? If you hate it, why do you hate it?
I do not hate it or love it. It would be nice to see more non-heterosexual relationships be portrayed in anime, but their inclusion or exclusion do not effect my perception of how an anime works. Of course, there are some shows that I greatly enjoy that benefit from the analysis of homosexual relationships, but they are not a selling point to me per se.
3.) How does your perspective of homosexual relationships in anime affect your perception of homosexual relationship in real life.
In no way whatsoever.
4.) How does the homosexuality presented in anime affect you personally.
In no way whatsoever.
5.) Do you think the presentation of homosexual relationships is stereotypical, pandering, or a fairly good representation of it.
See question 1.
