I'm just sayin', if there was any justice in this world BECK would be more popular than K-On and would get another season and so would Baccano! and I'd be a billionaire.

Yes it is.

Speaking of it, idea time: it could be an OVA where some crazy person locks them in a room where they can't leave til they play the song PERFECTLY from beginning to end without one screw up. If somebody screws up, they have to start all over. All 20 minutes + change.

Edit: Upon reflection, take out the crazy guy bit and make it a personal goal they set or something.

Hm, you say that as if to insulate that K-ON! is inherently bad.

Even if the musical side isn't the crux of the entire show, it still forms a distinct part of the ensemble. It's used sparingly, but it's used well. But I do agree with those who'd like more of that aspect specifically.

I'm just saying BECK spoke to me on another level and really seemed to capture the essence of rock. I haven't watched much K-On! but it didn't do that for me.

I'm just at a point where I can't get that invested in another show about schoolgirls doing stuff when there are other stories I'd rather see being made that aren't.

There would be an argument in the middle about what the song's even about, which would lead to some to some sleep deprived hallucination of Geddy, Alex, and Neil telling them something inspirational which would allow them to play the song. Or some shit, I'm just Rush fan wanking really.

I was just on a total Rush binge when I created my account, and it was just the thing to come to mind I guess lol.

Heh I guess it doesn't work out for actual anime videos for whatever reason. Too many VAs all at once maybe? So they just do concerts and talk/acting events.
They do do it with VA CDs, e.g. Miyano Mamoru has a handshake event next month for his new single CD.
And miscellaneous other events, like the only time I ever went to Comic Market (summer 2002), Sasajima Kahoru and Koyama Kimiko were doing handshakes for people who bought 5000+ yen worth of stuff at the KSS booth.

Not too often you see a beach episode without the girls in swimsuits, but this episode wasn't about that. This was about further development of Itsuki, and her starting to open up a bit and overcome being the SC President and make new friends with the other members of the Fashion Club. Erika was also on her game in this one.

The new ED...Goddamn. I think I'm in love.
I'm assuming Cure Moonlight's presence in it means that she'll return in full force some time soon.

Guys, I just discovered that the last name of one of my favorite 6th grade students, Akane, is Tendo.

Her name is Akane Tendo, and she does karate and she's awesome.

Shit just got real.

I was around episode 20 of Hyouka and for some reason I didn't really want to finish it. I should go back to that. And I'll probably go with Steins Gate first then probably & Humanity has Declined.

K-On isnt yuri but there is a very safe garden and a bit of cute implied yuri. At least its all girls.

also Yami is amazing and Im not sure why SDBurton disliked it.

I wish it were visually more attractive though. As it is I think it's actually a little lower than JC Staff levels. Still the spaceship design makes up for it, even if it is Duckroll'd

Was extremely pissed at the fact that
the main character went through all the trouble to be reunited with her love only to be basically blown off by her with some bullshit excuse, only to "make up" for it by becoming her baby at the end of the show. Shit was ridiculous. I wanted a happy ending, not some "Hey I'll be your kid in a couple of years so we can be together then, kay?" The fuck.
