I wouldn't disagree, but what makes you say that?

If you hadn't followed the development of the project, this video wouldn't tell you anything about what Kickheart is about. At all. It's kind of a jumble of interesting images and ideas that might interest you further if you liked the designs but beyond that it doesn't sell itself or explain itself one iota.

I wasn't being entirely serious earlier. Although it is worth nothing that even shows like Gundam 00 feature women with ridiculous breasts so it seems to be a given with whatever mecha show you're making. Although at this point I don't really consider Gargantia to be a mecha show, it just happens to feature a mecha.

Regarding blushing, this is a point I discussed excessively a few years ago regarding Broken Blade and also when it cropped up in Gulity Crown. It's a disease which is clearly spreading.

Although, now that I think about it, Broken Blade, Guilty Crown and Gargantia are all Production I.G. works. Hmm.
Gargantia has blushing shoulders because that's what Hanaharu Naruko draws them like.
I always thought it was because she has the most boobs.
That's a part of it yes. And I was talking about the whole episode as a whole, not just what he was talking about.

You don't have to worry about that.

Yes!!

In K-ON! terms, he's Mugi.

Much knows what's up.

You don't have to worry about that at all. Seriously.

Awwww yeah!

There's no way you would end up jumping ship from the S. S. Mitsu. Yui on the other hand I could see going anywhere.

Yeah no doubt Mitsu is my #1 OTP.

Puni pu...

So cute.

And now you know why I think Mio is the best.

She has made a strong case!

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
I'm about 10 episodes into S2 of K-On!, and thus far Ritsu is still best girl, but Mio is moving up on the list while Azusa is moving down. Yui holding steady at #2 for now and Mugi still in dead last because she's boring and doesn't do anything.

Holy crap, this show is awesome especially this episode. I like how the moment they throw in a sentai plot everything got change from goofy to serious sentai and to make it even better it breaks the fourth wall. Ingenius!

Heartcatch Precure 1-8

So far I have pretty mixed feelings about this show. I really enjoy the Saturday morning cartoon vibe with the derpy monsters and cheesy villains but I keep seeing all these missed opportunities. The generals just aren't as good as say Team Rocket and while they may not be going for the bumbling villains angle they're hardly competent or menacing either. So far they've only been beaten away once while running away every other time which is just unsatisfying. With the pretense that they're competing with each other having some sabotage or infighting being their downfall would be great or at least have the Precures call them out on being cowards, Erika would probably revel in taunting them.

Speaking of Erika she's hands down the best part of this show so far, she may not be super original but at least her antics are rather entertaining. Which makes it rather disappointing that she doesn't have a good foil to her yet, though her sister is a decent start. A good opportunity was when photography girl showed up. With Erika not caring about blowing their cover and Tsubomi panicking the three of them could've lead to some quality hijinks, though bonus points for bringing back side characters for that episode.

But comedy isn't really the focus, drama and action are. Which is fine except I'm not really invested in the fights. There's no sense given that the Precures might lose, even if the heroes never lose I want the illusion that they might. There's no winning by the skin of their teeth or crazy gambits or opponents with a trick up their sleeve. Maybe later when the stakes are higher I'll get a lot more out of the action they're throwing at me.

And really all my complaints could be fixed or justified easily later on but you can't get around that on early impressions of a long show. All the things I was warned about don't really bother me, the girly stuff and the episodic formula just don't bother me yet. There's plenty of room to play around with the setup they've got so hopefully they keep things fresh.

Also some random thoughts:
-is there a reason why the crystals the villains make look like exclamation points?
-why do the fairies poop out the heart seeds and why are they eaten for power ups? are they teaching Japanese girls to eat shit?! :O
-I really love the derpy monsters and hope they keep coming. Lipstick missiles just crack me up.

I'm also wondering if I should've went with CCS instead with all these positive posts lately. Silly me for thinking the shorter show would be better budgeted/paced/easier to get through >.<

This is quite possibly the slowest anime thread in a good long time. Not that I think that's a bad thing, but I feel it's worth noting.

Most of your complains are a dressed later.

Tragic victim of fan death

I think at times it's really active and really dead. I was expecting like 5 pages from last night but it ended up being only like 1.

Yeah I noticed that too.

It really comes down to when the new shows are airing I guess. And that most of us are asleep at the same time.

I blame the official threads. Shut them down so we can reabsorb their corpses.

Why are skirts so short in anime, yet girls still freak out when their panties are seen. You'd think they got used to it after wearing skirts all their lives. And would dudes still get nosebleeds if panties aren't such a rare sight?

It's like seeing boxers from sagging thug people.

Trying to apply logic to fanservice is a futile endeavor.
