Could not stop thinking about MGS1 during that silliness. This episode also reminded me even more of BoF2, though, what with the cat girl and winged folk and blue haired dragon swordsman. Just need an androgynous plant, monkey, dog, armadillo and snake-woman to round us out.
It took a couple episodes, but I think this show is really starting to click with me. I like the music a lot, and while I think the Guymelefs are kinda small for mecha, they're okay. Sort of reminded of Gundam SEED in this episode by Dulandau getting his face sliced and whining it up, since he, like Yzak, is a huge sissy villain.

I remember it selling pretty awfully, so I'm pretty sure S2 isn't going to happen any time soon. It was a decent show so I'd watch it if it did.
Because the visuals were the only thing it had going for it. Other than that is was shallow ecchi shit.

I really, really like the OP to this show. It reminds me of the OPs from Eureka 7, except the 3rd OP from E7 which was pure and utter awful. But yeah, the OP is catchy as hell. In fact, most of the music in this show is catchy. I still don't like Lelouch, but I'm guessing the idea is to see him become a villain? I dunno. Suzaku, on the other hand, seems like a pretty upstanding and heroic guy, and I definitely like him. He sort of strikes me as the Delita of this tale, a nobody rising in ranks in a war, as it were. Which makes Lelouch a douchier Ramza.
The mecha action was really good, though. I liked seeing the Lancelot trash Lelouch's troops. Who is Lelouch's English VA, though? So familiar . . .

7.5 was a BD special, so it's not really "important" to watch but it's honestly one of my favorites. I'm not entirely sure if the ep 1 I watched was the extended episode or not, so I couldn't tell you.

In fairness, I'm still in my hangover period so I'm probably not in the right state of mind to give it an actual score. Maybe further down the line.
But Yami will always be Elephant Oatmeal. No score in the world gives any sort of description of that show.
I definitely like OP1 over OP2. Maybe it's cuz it's more catchy.

In watching the sub and dub simultaneously, I think JYB made Lelouch quite a bit more vibrant and intense. One of his best roles.
I definitely prefer Jun Fukuyama and Takahiro Sakurai over JYB and Yuri.
I just reached #15 and that one should definitely be much higher.
