This not making any sense, you can said this to any harem with blind justifying like this..

Even if you don't like SAO got bashed and feel its great, Harem not make it bad.

Steins; Gate is harem, F/SN too, Tenchi too, move on.

Talking again about organizing old posts and impressions and I went and collected together all the OT threads that I had or could think of. Some might already have these bookmarked or subscribed to but I thought collecting them in one place might make for easier reference.

Sometimes different ones might want to go back and read through an OT even if they can't contribute anymore. I read through the OreImo and Panty & Stocking thread after I watched those shows and I think I might go back and read through the Fate/Zero and From the New World threads sometime.

I tried organizing the OTs roughly the season they stated in each year and roughly alphabetically as well for multiple OTs in a season. This was only kind of a rough draft so I may very well have missed a few OTs. I thought the anime C: The Possibility of Money and Control had one for example but I can't seem to find it with what I'm typing in to search. I may be mistaken and there never was one either.

If anyone's interested anyway here's a list of a bunch of the one's I could find.

I don't hate SAO , that's all .i don't care about harem shows or not.

If you feel like steinsgate is an harem show , then everything is an harem show then.
In tenchi muyo the guy has 3 wifes & 2+ concubines. We're in a totally different realm than Sao or steinsgate. I fail to see why pointing this out make you all react like that.

Well, as it is Gen Urobuchi it may well actually mean something inside his head, but as that's not translated to the show it only serves to be fluff.

Yes, almost every show are harem. Most anime today made for otaku anyway

Does it really matter if the girls portrayed to being ready to into polygamy or not if male and female ratio is like 1:7?

Based on that alone its already can identified as harem, especially SAO.. god sake every girl have at least one intimate scene with kirito.

All of them liked kirito at some point. But after that there is nothing ...trully a great void.

I don't like Sao that much ( there are many other lns i like way more ) because i feel it's flawed.
But i'm not arguing about that.
A harem show is a show that use harem as a mean to do something with it (it can be drama or not ) but there is nothing of that in SAO. The girls aren't even in ambush in case something happens, there are just not there except as game party members or for a talk with tea in the famillly house at most ..

They all became "friends of the familly" and all gave up.

Actually, Takuto only had one girl kinda going after him. Every other girl had her own love interest. Rahxephon is Bones' real harem anime.

Julian really IS James Bond in space. He just subdued an entire destroyer! And Louis Mashengo had some Mr. Rogers thing going in this episode.
I like the little Yang Wenli flashbacks too. It clearly shows how Julian has learned to analyse situations from his mentor.
I'm glad Bucock actually gives a modicum of capabilities to the Alliance leadership. He's the best Fleet Admiral they've had so far in the series.
Looking forward to the battle. Reinhard and Mittermeyer working together! Too bad von Reuental has to miss the show.

All that matters for determining a harem show is if more than two girls want the protagonist. It doesn't matter if they "give up," by that logic any harem show where a girl is chosen actually isn't a harem show.

The couple is done. when the other girls know about the couple they back off and remain friends ( suguha,lizbeth, silica )

This isn't even like oreimo when you have 3 girls that are lusting about the main character in different ways .. in Sao everything is set in stone from the start.heck even kirito is unfased 95% of the time if asuna is not involved.

I know it's been said, but seriously, that doesn't matter. All that matters is that more than two people are in love with the protagonist; that's the only rule that determines if something is a harem series or not. And yes, there are a lot of them.

In real life having two wives (in countries where that is allowed) would certainly be considered a harem, but for the purposes of anime two is a love triangle, three a harem.

I don't know what an osana najimi is, but yeah, that IS has a harem made up of four tsunderes and one girl who's sometimes tsundere (plus the sister, who incest fans like to ship with the MC) definitely makes it stand out... so many tsunderes!

I entirely agree with Firehawk12 on this one -- Date-A-Live may be bad, and it is, but it's nowhere remotely near the level that SAO is on.

I'm looking at that Penguindrum OT. I'm not one to buy anime merchandise, but I would totally consider buying one of those giant stuffed penguins. I don't think they actually sell them though.

Naruto: Road to Ninja

The movie subtitle makes no absolute sense but w/e. This was actually a pretty good movie surprisingly. The first half is infinitely better than the second half. The action is sort of muddled and there wasn't really anything interesting. However, I do think the movie does a better presentation of how Naruto isn't an idiot who's haxor cuz he has Rasengan or Shadow Clones since he actually shows some intelligence in fights and does good moves overall. W/e. The second half was just mindless fights that were stupid. First half good. All I care about.
