Ledo ought to sport this attire for his whole time on gargantia, good. Seemed like an episode you save for like a bonus disc or something. That said following Ledo around for this day was fun and interesting. Pinion is an interesting guy and deserves more time.

The whole idea of this dungeon was pretty amusing as well as seeing it. But, watching it move wasn't so much.

I did enjoy Hakuryuu's tantrum mostly cause I totally expected them to go the other angsty route instead.

in Eternal Sailor Moon was really cheap, as plain as Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, the tune when she was attacking was bad, what was that, argh...also Sailor Wing.

I got through the Zagan arc pretty recently in the manga. It's really good. It may even be my favorite arcs of the ones I've read. The way the dungeon's set up and the fights that go down inside it are great. I also love Hakuryuu as a character.

walking mecha tank corp?!
Now it's even less believable that they're all teenage girls even if they are apart of
something called a pink squad (there are other all girl platoons?)
stationed in the middle of nowhere. Speaking of revelations,
they can't read Japanese but can read French eh? I wonder how other countries are doing in this world
. I know this is hardly crazy for anime but I suspended my disbelief for one thing that got pushed way further! These aren't even close to say a Code Geass level of revelations but it caught me off guard because it was so unexpected. Despite all that I actually liked this episode because who doesn't like
a ghost hunt and exploring abandoned buildings
? I did kind of roll my eyes at trotting out the self conscious :Chet: comparisons and MASCOT GET! It just feels kind of tacked on and makes it seem like they don't have confidence in their show without these tropes.

I still don't get how crazy lesbian girl has yet to meet any of the clones but Misaka just randomly bumps into them and is jelly when they hang out with the Index guy.

This show is just full of surprises, I didn't expect tragic back stories or dramatic situations just yet but it was all pulled off pretty well. Also I don't think I've ever heard
Amazing Grace
played on the trumpet before, I'm surprised a non-butchered version of Reveille didn't show up first but I guess that would be too predictable for these guys.

Ok so I should continue taking it seriously right? It'd be a relief to hear that there isn't a train wreck of a plot coming up because I doubt this would get as entertainingly ridiculous as CG was.
Interesting that a tank is setup to play Amazing Grace though, I'm actually excited that there might be a good explanation for that one.

No, it's fine. I'm one of many people who have zero problems with fanservice, and Strike Witches has that plus a cast of extremely lovable cast of characters and some decent action scenes. Also, Strike Witches is a big success (according to the pretty decent load of merch and metric fuckton of fanart) too so they don't really need to change anything!

While Li is definitely Sakura's love rival and continues to be tsundere about everything else, he's definitely starting to feel like more of an ally in regards to the clow card encounters. Also onii-chan turning down a pretty girl? :DTL is all but confirmed now.

This week, Rikka learns diversity, character likableness levels up. She gets the "You can be whatever you want to be" line. I enjoyed this episode, it shows us that Rikka can have problems that have nothing to do with her harem, but her dreams and aspirations. Little Rikka was utterly adorable.

Awesome fan-service aside (which looked like something out of an OVA), it's nice to see the Ledo's evolution into a human being continue to go forward. This episode did have it's funny moments as well as some questionable moments.

For one thing, why was that old woman so concerned with Ledo taking the...BBQ sauce or whatever? I don't know why, she acted like it was a weapon the way she said it would "settle things". Who knows, nonetheless, good episode.

So I'm guessing Minerva Zabi is the character Marie Meia Kushrenada in Gundam Wing is based on, both are identical in appearance, and are little girls being brainwashed by others into living up to a legacy they didn't choose, except Minerva behaves like a little girl and Marie Meia behaved like a psychopath.

Anyway, Char FREAKS OUT and gets exposed as Char and errybody is all "WHAT LT. QUATTRO IS CHAR?" except Kamile. And now Sriracha is in league with the Zeon. And Rekkua needs to get over him.

I hope this world building never stops since the setting is the real star of the show and not the girls. Also I never would've thought to tie glassblowing to music playing so props to whoever thought of that one. So
the music playing mecha tank has some sort of cannon with lenses based on sound?
Things are coming together and it is quite intriguing.

I may be reading this completely wrong but
the lenses make different sounds according to the amount of materials in it, so they picked the one that sounded most like the original. I don't believe it has anything else to do with sound
.

So I flipped a coin trying to decide whether to watch this or Windy Tales, sorry WT maybe next time. The best part so far is the grounded but exotic setting and in those respects it kind of reminds me of FMA or Kino's Journey. I'm a little disappointed that the military music corp isn't some ragtag group of guys and gals from various backgrounds but I knew what I was getting into, still makes me wonder what could've been. Hopefully the upcoming SoL elements don't get in the way of the world building. Also the Ska ED was a pleasant surprise, in hindsight it's a really obvious choice given the premise.

The ED is one of the best things ever. Ska is love. It also presents an interesting dichotomy later on as you will see.
Happy to see another SNW watcher!

I can't take any of this show anymore. I've never watched such a show that goes from not taking itself seriously to taking itself way too seriously so god damn abruptly. Mostly everything else, especially the music is just bad.

Agreed. There's no way you can't feel good watching or listening to that ED. Well, except when it's super abrupt in one of those episodes.
