Great episode. Loved everything about it from how the action scenes were handled in the beginning to Maou's and Alsiel's first experience at being in our world. Those two pratically made the entire episode with their various interactions to everything around them. Maou himself, I enjoyed his personality with how he's so dedicated about working at MgRonalds that he was willing to use his remaining magic and I like his positive attitude he showed when encouraging Chi. Alsiel was my favorite throughout because of his outbursts, especially when he Maou were trying to find a home.

Anyway, I have a buddy that got into Precure because I was marathoning the shit out of it (in order no less), and I gave him the option to go to Max Heart or Pick one of his choosing, and he asked me for the pros and cons of these decisions.
I had a very hard time trying to make cons for Splash Star. I think that made me realize how much I liked that series.
There is even a Kotaku article CONGRATULATING the American fandom.

L-elf has to definitely be starting to be at top of the genre tier in terms of epic characters of anime, the whole episode three even.

Splash Star isn't quite as good if you've seen Futari wa beforehand because Saki and Mai are ostensibly replacements for the too-old-for-little-girls-to-identify-with-according-to-toei Nagisa and Honoka and they compare somewhat unfavorably in terms of chemistry, but in a vacuum it's a very solid series and does some things better than its predecessor.
Makes me wish that Toei would take a chance on another "duo"-format season someday, but sadly, more Cures = more toys = more yenz. (unless you're Dokidoki, lol)
Wow... somehow, when I was looking through the seasons I managed to pass Splash Star completely by. I think when looking through I confused it with Max Heart.

I cant really slack off at work because of the nature of the job. Drivers call in when they have an issue, and I have to respond. I do have some quiet moments when things are going smoothly so maybe that counts...
