All of SAO you should really watch is the first half. The second half is pure and unadulterated shit.

And you really should watch some Steins;Gate. I would recommend playing the game first, but most people aren't crazy enough to read a 40 hours visual novel.

Also, give The Count of Monte Cristo, and Romeo X Juliet a chance.

Before I forget, watch Monster. That show is so damn good. One of my favorite anime out there.

I really should rewatch Now and Then Here and There, I originally watched it in the worst way imaginable (via the first-gen iPod!). I can barely remember anything about that show besides Yami's (Yu-gi-oh) English VA was part of the show.

The Manga had too much going on, going one to one really made the arc better animated, even of there were lengthy recap, op, more recap each episode.

That was kind of the point, it was a war, big names versus big names going at each other in real time, no-one having the Final Fantasy etiquette for battle, with Luffy bouncing around from big name to big name like a rubber ball frantically trying to reach his destination.

Even if we take out the typical Toei filler of where the actual episodes start and end, the episodes themselves was chock full of moments like where buggy's jokes taking longer than they should have, and even slow mo-ing Luffy's progress to the plaza at times.

Skypeia was too dragged out in the Manga and way too dragged out in the anime.

The worst offense in the arc was the very long flashback before Luffy's final blow, good grief that couldn't have been placed in a worse place!

Not much to say here. Romeo's such an idealistic sap, but you have to admire him for putting his body where his mouth is (and where it put him).

I can see where the separation of our star-crossed lovers could cause the story to drag, but I think the longer they're apart, the stronger the moment of reunion.
