The beginning of Nisekoi isn't terrible. It's still generic but I found it amusing. The expressions were amazing. I hope the anime does it justice.

Hopefully Y&#363;ki Kaji can play Karma-kun. Doesnt it half enough for an anime season now, I think theyve just finished three or so months is in universe. Maybe they will tease and green light an anime later this summer or in the fall to air in spring.

I thought Bakuman anime continued because the manga was selling so well especially once it started having the anime, even when the manga ended it still made top 10 best selling manga of the year.

Looking at the steam group it seems like no one else does either, 0.0 hours in the past 2 weeks played almost across the board! I think the problem is that there isn't an agreed upon game for you guys to get together and hang out in much less one that doesn't cut into anime watching time.

Oh man, this alternate opening was amazing. So much Maria. I didn't know Chiaki Omigawa was in this as well. Really the only thing missing is Kana Hanazawa and Kana Asumi and you pretty much got the whole set. 5 episodes in and the humour is still holding up. Maybe the jokes will get repetitive once they finish introducing new characters, but so far the show kept it fresh every episode.

It's also worth noting that it was airing on NHK's education channel. I don't know that it was ever expected to really bring in ratings, but to provide a look at the inner workings of manga publishing and get more people to read the manga.

Although interesting enough, on the cast listing page that was included with a recent chapter, they had characters (Asuka and Kyosuke) that don't show up until the arc after the one the OVAs covered... so the TV anime might even be starting from there and use flashbacks as necessary.

Voicecast for Nisekoi is out apparently. Not sure if this is quite correct since this site usually jumps the gun but I wouldn't be surprised if it is correct. These ar roles for the video manga that Jump put up a while back. Like I said, the site probably jumped the gun and it could be incorrect.
