Kyousougiga TV 1

Coming back to this so I can finally finish up the last half. My feelings about this are similar to my feelings at the time - in trying to expand upon the 2012 ONAs, this may be putting too much emphasis on trying to explain what is a rather fuzzily constructed setting, inviting questions that it may not be prepared to actually answer. The audiovisual presentation is great, of course. I'll see where this actually ends up going.

Heads up for Yowamushi Pedal fans, the movie is available right now on Crunchyroll:

Oh, this is just the compilation film, though I suppose Crunchyroll is hinting that they have the original movie as well and will announce that tomorrow. Interesting to see Crunchyroll continuing to make moves in getting movies on their service.

Danball Senki - 32

He sure ended up shooting himself in the foot in his fight.

Date a Live ep.10
Ok, so it is confirmed now that adoptive
imouto is also a hybrid spirit
and now he has to go on a date with her, make her fall for him, then kiss her. Oj, he also goes to see his "biological" imouto in the hospital after a harse battle with the clock spirit and meets up with his girlfriend there by accident and she basically tries to seduce him in the hospital by ducking fingers, straddling hum, etc...

This is some classic shit right here...

Danball Senki - 33

Main character teaming up with two major bosses he fought before V.S. Main character's rival along with his two main teammates.

I don't think I could have gotten a more unorthodox and strange fight for the next episode but oh man am I excited to see how it plays out.

Danball Senki - 34

I really liked how this bizarre alliance fight went down.

Ban being teamed up with
Gouda and Sendou
is my favourite thing about this arc so far.

Macross 18

REALLY? I know he was kicking up a few flags, but did
Focker really need to die because he chose to go to his girlfriend's place after being injured instead of going directly to the hospital to get treatment?

All the bastards in the room with the skirts on their face right now told me to watch it lol.

you shouldn't watch that
you shouldn't watch queens blade

I am sure there are others, but those are the first that come to mind with shows you shouldn't watch because they are basically pornos :P

Cornbread, you have nobody to blame but yourself. You should have read the synopsis beforeof asking around whether you should have watch it.

Joker Game-5

This is utter trash. I probably should drop the show but it airs on a date when nothing else comes out.

This is just watching 24 minutes of All According to Keikaku.

Joker Game 5

I'm done.

This show is going nowhere. The episodic stories have no meaningful character in them whatsoever. Each episode is just an exercise in creating intricate spy plots without any stakes. I find this really disappointing, because I desperately want to like this show, due to its unique setting and perspective.

This individual episode was a step up as a mystery because there were actually meaningful hints towards the "solution" before it was presented to the audience. Still, each mystery only seems to exist for its own sake, which feels like an enormous waste to me.

I was hoping the Spymaster would actually live up to his title and out-trick the spy but nope because praise Glorious Nippon! Banzai! Banzai!

Yeah, the problem is that I read just the synopsis and not the reviews....

Synopsis:
At St. Mihailov Academy, a series of serial murders have taken place with all the victims being young women. Who is this rampant culprit? And which beautiful maiden will fall prey to his evil next? After a horrible day of being harassed by their classmates, the adopted sisters Mafuyu Oribe and Tomo Yamanobe stumble across an injured young man and decide to bring him back to their place to recover. That very night, Mafuyu ends up at the mercy of the infamous serial killer. Strangely, he demands not her life, but instead an icon left behind by Tomo's father. Luckily, Sasha, the mysterious young man that the sisters had taken in, comes to the rescue just in time, helping Mafuyu avoid the same fate as the other victims. Sasha reveals that he is a Qwaser, an individual capable of controlling scientific elements by partaking in Soma, a miraculous essence found within the breasts of women. Capable of manipulating iron, Sasha crafts a giant scythe and slays the serial killer. He enrolls in the academy the next day signalling the beginning of a very "interesting" school year. Seikon no Qwaser is an action-heavy story that doesn't shy away from fan-service. Join Sasha and his allies as they fend off the evil that is nearing in.

Oh well, Guilty Crown it is.

I was looking for another series like Strike the Blood that had action but was fun at the same time.

If I'm using excellent interrogation techniques on a captured spy, and after using them he tells me,
"My spymaster must have sold me out,"
how does that not set off massive alarm bells? You can't use that guy for anything.

asuka senpai already turning to evil

this shit gonna be tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightttttttttt.

throxas finish the sound eupho episode review or you'll never see those prints! i'm thinking of just ordering the rest from the website since I can't be arsed going to uji again and I want the design works.
Soonish ;_;

Get em all and i'll get you the monies.
also, do i need one design works, the other, or both?
Also I'm not too sure on this.

Question on Eupho for ya’ll:

Do people out there really only like it because of the yuri possibilities/ yuri shipping? Are people really interested in the story it presents as a HS band fighting for the chance to go to nationals? Is it really just the yuri madness that really drew people to the show....?

The show is beautiful...
I could give a shit about that stupid shipping crap.

I'm in it for the phenomenal job KyoAni does bringing this setting, massive cast of characters, and compelling band drama to life in the highest quality. Not to mention the instrument porn and anatomical accuracy.

It's a one of a kind work that's unparalleled.

Actually, Kaze no Stigma decent replacement for Strike the Blood?

Way past my bedtime now dammit, lol.

maybe?

as for guilty crown, that may work, but make sure to do drugs of some sort towards the middle as it gets really bad in the middle and only slightly redeems itself in the end.

at least if I am recalling the right show and

guilty crown spoiler.
Towards the middle the main character like snaps and because a giant asshat just because.

if I am not recalling right perhaps I should pull out my guilty crown dvds and watch them :P

Never watched the other but Kaze no Stigma is very mediocre. The quirkiness is that the MC is an asshole, so if you enjoy that type of comedy there might be something there.
I believe the story is unfinished because the author passed away a few years back :(
