More complex than what they did with FF3 and 4? Bullshit, most of us would be happy with a slightly better 3D version like those games or HD-2D.

It isn't complicated unless they want to go nuts and make it hard.

The legacy alone of VI is massive. Can't blame them for being a little cautious, especially considering how huge the scope of VIIR is turning out to be.

Cool to know people at SE aren't afraid and want the challenge though. Would love to see a Octopath-esque 2D/3D remake.

This is what I've always gone with. Switching it up into 3D with modern graphics would blow my mind, but Octopath would be welcomed and safe. I'd really be happy with either though, but I can't help but wonder what FF6 would look like in FF16 style graphics.
