Don't worry, it happens . . .Did you see that YouTube video I posted a few pages back? It helped me with Death Zone, got me to take a couple lines that work out better. But yeah luck does play a big part, once you lose your Tricky or you crash once you're usually hosed.
Anybody find themselves missing Johnny Morgan's music and sound design from the first three games? It's pretty nitpicky, but I really missed not just having the music fade out on jumps, but recede into the basic beat driving the tune. The sound design in the latest one is good too, but it's just not the same. Wish there were options regarding the remix feature.
Yeah also pretty sure in some areas in Tricky when you went off the beaten path, a completely different song would get mixed in and get louder. Really cool.
Hey I've got what I would describe as a serious issue. Namely I often cant see custom global events my friend makes, and he can't see ones I make. This happens about a quarter of the time. Is anyone having this problem too?
Whoa, that's crazy!
Are you using the Rivals page of RiderNet to try and find their stuff? Or is it not showing up there and not on the globe menu either?
It's not showing up on the globe. I havent tried through the rivals menu, I'll try that next time.
But, 3/4 of the time it DOES show up on the globe.
I can finally join GAF SSX brethren ;_; , my copy finally arrived today !
Here's my list of fun, non insane drops. By insane I mean either tons of death pits, or stuff that makes you freeze to death or run out of air. It's a work in progress.
SSX good drops
Rockies:
Whitehorse mtn: Curlies Moustache, JT2
Extinguisher tower: Dagger, Broken tooth
Alaska:
Silverthrone: Pan, unsanctioned (night time)
Foraker: Lock Jaw
Siberia:
Boris: Vapor Trail, Big Show
Kara-Oiuk: critical mass, Don't make me
Himalayas:
Makalu: Serenity
Chomo Lonzo: Bear Claw
Alps:
Vorassay: Hammer, Beyond the fall
Africa:
Meru: Red Light, cork screw
Where's my Trickypedia ?
I like that track as well.
Where's that at?
Again, Diamond is literally the best time/trick/meter for a particular event since only one person can be in Diamond bracket at a time. To hold diamond is to be the best person on an event (so far). It's supposed to be a big thing to have/hold it. If you can get to diamond bracket, and hold it, it means you're the shit.
Did terrible on my first try on Rolling Thunder Megabuxxxx. 6.6 Milli. But I did try retrying it this morning and it didn't ask for another 2 milli, so I'll keep trying.
I'll...keep trying.

What's the controls for signature move again? L2 + R2? I couldn't remember when I was playing last night, and kept rewinding myself by mistake. (Oddly, signature move isn't in the digital manual?)
Yes. Start a trick and then hold L2+R2.
Oh I have to start another trick first, not just hold them when I'm airborne? I think that's what I'm doing wrong.
I'm not sure how exactly the controls are filtered, but I do know that if you hold LT/L2+RT/R2->any trick button (the -> indicating that you should press and hold the trick AFTER you hold LT/L2+RT/R2) will always get you a sig Uber.
If you're pressing a trick button first, I'm pretty sure the control filtering makes it think like you just want to tweak (RT/R2) and then are holding the LT/L2 button for no reason. I believe the order is important.
I always start the trick first and then do L2+R2, and it registers as the signature move.
Finally hit 10 with Mac. Now to hit it with Alexi, and Elise? Maybe Kaori and Ty too...
Hate it when I haver a perk suit...that doesn't glow.
I never buy suits unless they are legendary, glowing and with a perk, if I'm eventually going to find one, why buy anything less? Same with Legendary boards, and Equipment.

How do I know who the unique members of team ssx are? Or just the members? I'm trying to get the world tour badges right now and I have no idea who they are
What badge are you trying to get? Hawk xSx provided a really great badge guide that's linked in the second post of the OP.
I'm trying to get the ones where you have to beat griff down the different mountains. It would be easier if I didn't have to guess who is a unique member and who isn't. I though Mac was but after beating griff in africa with him I guess he ins't?
All you have to do is beat him with 6 different (read: unique) characters to get gold on each of the specified mountains. Hope this helps.
This would do it:
Beat Griff in Mountain X with
1. Zoe.
2. Ty
3. Tane
4. Elise
5. Kaori
6. Psymon
Exchange any rider for another, and rearrange the order as much as you like, but beating Griff with the same person twice does not count towards getting the gold medal.
Where's my Trickypedia ?
I like that track as well.
Himalayas, same mountain as Serenity.
Some Mass Effect boards showed up with 158 hours to buy. Seems like there's 2 different ones and you can buy 2 for every character. I only managed to get 2 for Elise though. I leveled up Alexis cause I wanted a level 10 N7 board but they disappeared once I leveled. And Kaori's glitched or something cause the board is completely blank. I bought it anyway hoping another would show up but nope. Then the rest of them disappeared from the store so no more N7 boards for me
It shouldn't be too hard to platinum this game. Just gotta keep playing
