Yeah, he is correct. If you got to missions, its the first of the 3 types called Training.
Helps you get a feel for the controls of each one.
And that Endor speederbike one. I can play it over and over and over and over... lol

How would you guys rank the modes? For me:
1. Supremacy. Doesn't really feel like Battlefield Conquest, but does feel a lot like classic Battlefront. You have to remember a lot of the most loved maps (Bespin Platforms, Kamino, and such) we linear in nature anyways. Just feels great to blast large groups of enemies.
2. Heroes vs Villains. I'm more into this mode less for the
fan service and more because I absolutely adore elimination game modes, and this is a nice twist bringing respawn mechanics into it. Playing with a squad is great, and I had a match where we had a draw 5 times and finish 5-4, very intense.
3. Cargo. Classic CTF, what's not to like? I find the scoring is neat too (each team has 5 pieces of cargo to start, who has most when it ends?). Maps are designed wonderfully around it too. Could maybe benefit for 8v8, but 6v6 feels good.
4. Fighter Squadron. Purely for the sights and sounds, great mode to jump into for something fresh and still very fun. Much prefer the TIEs!
5. Droid Run. Why do reviews state this as a random filler mode? It's very fun, I thought people liked Domination in COD? Add moving control points and it keeps things interesting.
6. Walker Assault. Ranking it fairly low because there seems to be a lot of balance issues, but still great chaotic fun.
7. Drop Zone. Ok mode, but keeping the focus always entirely on one point has lead to too many blow outs in my experience.
8. Blast. I could see others ranking it high, but without an objective to go to I'm a list puppy and get blindsided too much, and I don't want to hide somewhere waiting for people to kill.
9. Hero Hunt. By far worst mode, very stupid that is all about the last shot. Should of just made it 8 rounds, give everyone a chance at hero, winner is whoever kills the most. Bam, fixed it for you!
2. Boba, jet pack recharges insanely fast.
3. Han. Lucky shot all day.
4. Emperor. Easy to dash away or around and Shock Troopers are very strong.
5. Vader. I suck with both melee guys, but at least he gets some range with the saber toss and force choke.
6. Luke. I'm terrible with him, and he almost always dies first in Heroes vs Villains.

Think the timer needs to come back in some way. Maybe not in combination with health but just a normal timer of 2 min or something. I mean on Hoth is very easy to play with him and his jetpack on the outside like xFactor showed and almost all his weapons are for long range. But those arent really the problem imo. Its just his strenght.

Offourse there is. Try yourself to learn 3rd person. First person is cool and everything but just doesnt have any advantage over 3rd person at all.
Third person lets you look around corners, so that is a big plus.

I don't know why people "hate" Luke, I absolutely wreck with him. You gotta know your weaknesses, just like you don't expose yourself too much or too close to the enemy with Boba, you have to be smart with Luke and know when to push, or from where.

I had the same experience playing Blast last night.
Started at 9.30 pm and intended to play until 11 pm. Got to 11 and was like 'one more game'. Then it turned to 'I'll play until my team lose'. Then it turned into 'I'll play until I have more deaths than kills in a match'. Until finally it got to 2am and I had to sleep as had to get up at 6am...
Tired as shit now and on my way home but will most definitely load up the game as soon as I get in lol

First person is fun but you're at a pretty big disadvantage. Hoping they add a "hardcore" playlist or something that is first person only.

Ok, heroes vs villains is a pretty awesome mode. I just had a very long match in which we were down 3-1 and we managed to comeback and win 5-3. Everyone is clearly still figuring out how to play each of the roles and it becomes very apparent that everyone has figured it out near the end of the match. What fun.

Hardcore mode would be amazing, it's the only way I play Battlefield for example. I'm always at the Top of the board on PC in 1st person though! I'll give third-person another run

Are you aware that you can buy the game on one account and play it simultaneously on 2 different ps4s? My brother and I do this all the time. Made Battlefront essentially a $30 purchase for both of us. So basically,
Have your wife put your account on her ps4.
Make your account primary on her ps4.
Buy the game with your account.
Since the game is owned by your account and her ps4 is the primary, all accounts on that ps4 can play the game.
Since the game is owned by your account, you can still play on your ps4 so long as you are logged on to your ps4 and are connected to the Internet.
Note: This will almost certainly also work with the early Jakku code, so you only need 1 code.
Yeah, it's got a huge bolt and acts more like a shotgun. One-shots people coming around corners, I've dropped three enemies before they've been able to get more than a couple blasts off in return.
