They were working on a Leia ANH-skin (I think it was that one) but it was never released, no idea why though. It was supposed to release with the Death Star-DLC IIRC. I know there was some skin(s) planned but we never got them.
I also read now on Dennis twitter page that he said that we would be able to stay in one game mode (for the DLCs I suppose) but it didn't make it in the september-patch. So I guess we maybe will get it in this patch or we'll never get it. You would think it would have been included in the Rogue One-DLC if they had it done-isch in september.

You can spam it just by tapping L1. This has been a thing for well over a month, just getting patched now.

Yeah but firing that rapidly only causes minimal damage unless you hold it in. I think people are just getting lucky shots.
There's definitely a glitch that lets people spam full-power shots. There's plenty of YouTube videos of Lando melting heroes and AT-ATs in seconds.

For Battlefront 2, they should bring a class system and make uniforms class specific and depending on the map. I know they did this for Snowtroopers, Sandtroopers and Magma but it's jarring to see Shoretroopers running around Hoth, Sullust, Bespin and the Death Star.
I think the classes should have a small selection of weapons and star cards so you can still customise your loadout. For example:
Soldier
Weapons
E-11
A280C
DH-17
DLT-18
Star Cards
Thermal Detonator
Jump Pack
Flash Grenade
Barrage
Cooling Cell
Focus Fire
Then there could be other classes like Marksman, Officer, Engineer (or Pilot) and a specialised one like Death Trooper. Also heroes should be map specific.
Basically bring the game closer to classic Battlefront 2.
Edit: Since they're covering some of the sequel trilogy, I do wonder how they'll tackle weapon selection given that there are hardly any new ones. You've got the Stormtrooper rifle and pistol, Poe's rifle, Rey's pistol and Han's DL-44. That's all I can think of. Maybe they'll dig real deep and bring in the Jakku villager guns.

Hi, guys! So after seeing the AMAZING Rogue One I also decided to get myself Star Wars Battlefront, which was also on sale at the moment, for the PS4 as well as the Scarif DLC (to be honest I just wanted the Scarif DLC but you need the base game too so I had to buy it).
The game is absolutely PHENOMENAL! Graphics are 10/10, sound effects are legendary good, voice acting is fine and the gameplay is just perfect. So SO SO SO much better than any Battlefield or Battlefront games. Man, oh man do I love this game!
Playing as soldiers is awesome, playing as heroes is awesome. The game is awesome!
I don't know how the game was on release but now it's GODLIKE! I played it from 9am to about 4pm then I went to see Rogue One again and played from 9pm to about 4am!
Like, if this game was released in 2016 it would have been my GOTY!
So, as I was playing today and yesterday all I wanted to do was to get Jyn and play as her in the multiplayer (since she is now my favourite Star Wars female character) but I never got the chance until just now.
Let me tell you a short story: as I was playing the Infiltration mission I couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of playing as Jyn in the third act. The chances are incredibly slim to stumble upon the hero token and actually get to play as her but I could never stop looking around hunting for that token as I went from the spawn towards the objective. I was thinking about how awesome it would be to lead the rebel assault to reach the U-wing with Jyn at the helm, encouraging my team with her presence. In my head I was saying that playing as her is as rare as getting an Excalibur III in Ace Combat Infinity to which I immediately replied with 'but that just happened yesterday, boy!', while that was true lightning doesn't often strike the same place twice so I didn't really think much of it. Until that fateful moment when I was walking around a wrecked imperial shuttle that I saw the hero token for the first time. My heart stopped for but a moment and all I could think of was 'This is it! I will finally get it!' as I made my mad dash for her token. But my luck ran out sooner than I expected when I saw another player also gunning for the hero token. All I could do was shout "No. NOO! NOOOOOOOO!" as I was violently pushing the stick of my PS4 controller in hopes of reaching Jyn's token faster. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and the other player managed to get in front of me and reach the token first but then the screen popped up notifying me I was in possession of the token. At that moment I was ecstatic that I finally got to play as Jyn outside of hero matches! And to make it even more awesome I led the final push on the objective and we won the match

I know there has been a lot of criticism levelled at Battlefront online (some of it warranted, some of it not), but one of the things I love about it is that it absolutely nails the idea of playing out parts from the films.
Much like your Rogue One anecdote, I was itching to play a Trench Run mode long before it was ever announced. The first time I finally got to blow up the Death Star myself was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had with a game in recent memory. Even better, the run itself played out almost identically to the film: on the last stretch of the trench I was almost shot down by an enemy TIE, only for the Millennium Falcon to swoop in and blast it out of the sky, leaving me clear to hit the exhaust port. I saved the footage and rewatch it on my PS4 every once and a while.

Battle Station: R2-D2 ignores benefits from Bacta Bomb and Medical Droid
I'm new to the game and have only seen R2 stuck twice, but is this really going to be enough to make a difference to those abusing it? If you can still get him stuck, you'll have a whole room gathered around him with the Bacta Bombs and Medical Droids anyway, or if enemies, lobbing a Dioxis Grenade or Sonic Imploder.
Adjusting AT-AT health across all maps and adjusting the AT-AT walk speed on Twilight on Hoth makes it sound like they're maaaaybe finally adjusting how fucking impossible Twilight on Hoth is for the Rebels, it's seriously been super bad since launch.
Adjusting AT-AT health on all maps could really go either way; some maps (outside of Twilight) I feel skew one way or the other but as we've seen when they "adjusted" the health on the AT-AT on Bespin it's really easy to just patch it but fuck it up in the opposite direction. I'm curious to see how it works out if nothing else.

The update is up on Xbox One. Downloading now. Looking forward to not having to worry whenever Lando shows up.

I honestly never saw the A-180 glitch myself FWIW, but I only played maybe like 15ish games with it. It's a neat idea and I really like things about it, but I'm too set in my ways and setup over a year into the game to change at this point >_>

Bah, still no Pro patch. :-(
Battlefront II better fully support Pro and Scorpio. I need a reason to justify a new TV purchase and nothing has done it for me yet. 4K Battlefront would do it for sure.
I realize I could have 4K Battlefront right now by upgrading the GPU on my PC, but I don't want to.

Been playing some HvV and I think I do best with Jyn (after patch). Take down villains like Bossk and Vader pretty quick with a combo of blaster fire and baton action.
Also been weird using Luke. When facing off against Vader, I press the button for heavy attack but nothing happens sometimes. No animation or damage but it goes into cooldown. Maybe Vader strikes me and cancels it? It's too hectic to tell.

Was playing in Raider Camp and took a quick look at Instagram. Saw Boyega had just posted a story and sure enough it was the same match I'm in. No clue which one was him, though.
Clarification edit: He was recording himself playing Battlefront on Instagram.

I've been on a Star Wars kick lately and I have a few questions about this game:
1. Is this one of those FPS games where you die quickly, respawn, walk a loooong ways to get back to the action, and then die immediately again?
2. What would be the cheapest way to buy the game + DLC (and is all of the DLC worth it or just some?)
3. Is it a better idea to just wait for Battlefront 2, rather than getting into this game now?

1. You will die quickly, respawn, but the action is usually 6-9 seconds away.
2. Ultimate Edition; it's the whole game + DLC for $30.
3. Depends on how different Battlefront 2 will be from Battlefront 1. We still don't know.

I'm barely playing games right now to begin with, but Battlefront has been completely shelved for me right now.
BF1 and Titanfall 2 have my multiplayer focus.
I would've been back with a vengeance if there were a Pro patch.
Just got into again it this morning for a quickie, but I've pretty much dropped it. To its credit, it took longer to get stale as a mere stress-reliever than I thought, especially since I only got 1 DLC pack.
