Ah ok, so apart from the panel, everything else will be a surprise? Cool.

well they could announce a more detailed schedule in the morning. if you read the starwars.com article they give a brief overview of the things they will be covering, such as the fan film awards.

That just looks fan-fucking-tastic.

A perfect mix between OT and ST. Love it.

Can't wait to see more.

O, and if you don't want to be spoiled... I suggest you take a 3 day vacation to a place where there is no internet. A place where nobody knows Star Wars wil do fine too.

in case anyone thought a trailer was not really happening (or being shown outside the convention), major news source knows what's up

The live stream isn't available in my country. Are there any alternatives?

the youtube one, you mean?

don't know that is the only one spotted so far. I don't think disney is going to leave non-americans out of the party... it should be worldwide. just wait a bit and keep checking starwars.com front page if nobody finds anything about it

I am so pumped for the new trailer today. Here's hoping we get at least one shot of Han, Leia, or Luke.

Well it doesn't really "come out" if it's shown in private at Celebration, right?

GMA probably plans on airing it... maybe not today since their broadcast ends at 9am PST (I think?)

You're going to eventually be seeing the villain on literally everything before release.

So it's not exclusive to Celebration?

Seeing how it is being streamed worldwide it's kind of hard to be exclusive to Celebration.

We already know it is not being shown in private. It's being streamed here at 1 PM PST.

technically that has NOT been announced only that they would be live streaming the panel POTENTIALLY with clips and footage removed as is very common with panels being recorded from conventions.

the GMA tweet was posted by me to corroborate the theory that it will be available today.

.

That is not true. The Star Wars twitter clarified and said the stream would include any footage included in the panel.

Any footage shown in the panel has been officially confirmed to be in the stream.

Not a direct declaration of a trailer. Kindly stop hanging on my every contribution in this thread.

They declare any exclusive footage shown in the panel will be livestreamed. You said they might cut away from footage, this tweet point blank denies that is the case.

They said footage, your post said footage "technically that has NOT been announced only that they would be live streaming the panel POTENTIALLY with clips and footage removed as is very common with panels being recorded from conventions."

The footage shown will also be on the livestream as stated by their official Twitter. I am not hanging onto your posts, I am just correcting what you stated so people won't assume footage will be cut out. Because we have been given confirmation that won't happen.

No, but between GMA saying we're getting one, this tweet saying that we'll see any exclusive footage on the stream, and rumors that have been saying we'll get one here for the last couple weeks, I think it's safe to assume we'll have new TFA footage by the end of the day.

I think declaring the look and mask of the villain as a 'spoiler' could be a bridge too far. It will be in trailers, TV ads, posters, McDonalds Happy Meals for months prior to the release.

Welp, officially not in work mode today. Working remote too, Clone Wars streaming in the background and thinking about picking up KOTOR on my new S6 Edge.

Might have to do a movie rewatch this weekend too.

Not to mention it's the first Star Wars movie in 10 years and the first Star Wars movie Disney is pushing. You won't be able to walk into a retail chain without seeing it plastered everywhere.

And if you see something labeled "promo posters" from a Star Wars celebration chances of seeing new characters that you haven't seen or stuff you haven't seen is kind of sort of common sense.

Here is the livestream on the official star wars youtube page

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UY64GfyovE

The countdown seems to indicate the stream starts at 8AM... 2 hours before the panel

Guess we'll see what happens.

ok the countdown on youtube is an hour earlier than mad's schedule, so maybe they might have some pre-talkie or panel talkie
