Star Wars Rebels Season 3 |OT| Dark Forces Rising

What if they go to some other desert planet with two suns and don't find him? Depressed, Ezra turns to the dark side and randomly hooks up with a local and unknowingly impregnates her. And then it turns out it's Jakku.

Apparantly the visual guide of Rogue One reveals that Cassian Andor was a fulcrum agent in his career. So we might see him in Rebels.

I really freaking don't understand why they choose to break right when the movie releases 2 years in a row.
This is the time people would be eating it up with the hype.
Thankfully im behind 3 episodes so I get to come home from the theater and have something.

Even more so with this and Rogue One

They do it on purpose. To allow the focus to be entirely on the film.

Yep. It's probably also useful for the show creators in terms of scheduling, since they know exactly when there'll be a major break in broadcasting, and they can plan around it.

Thats incredibly silly though, the cartoon isn't going to take any attention away from the ridiculously huge movie.
Lower tier stuff should be riding the hype.

As bad as the game was you don't see EA saying the same about Battlefront.
That game did way better than it should have due to the time it released.

EA has the licence, they have their own schedule that isn't really related to the Lucasfilm production planning. Rebels and Rogue One are both Lucasfilm productions. Lucasfilm clearly believes it's better to have the focus be on one piece of on screen media at the time. It's the same reason you don't get teasers for Rogue One till after TFA, and Episode VIII till after Rogue One.

That might actually be a good choice because man coming out of that theater last night I no longer gave a crap about Rey or VII, VIII and IX

I mean that will definitely change after coming off the hype but that will be a while.

Saw Rogue One again, Ghost is in it a few times.
Though I am unsure if they got away. I tried to look hard to see if it jumped or crashed into Vader's ship.

I'm copying my post from the R1 Spoilers thread - all of the Rebels things that /r/StarWarsLeaks found:

  • The Ghost can be seen in no fewer than four shots, the two from the TV spots, one on Yavin 4 the first time we visit it, and another space battle shot, from the perspective of Admiral Raddus' bridge.
  • VCX-100 is said over the intercom, which is the model number of the Ghost.
  • "General Syndulla" is said over the intercom
  • Chopper shows up (only one I missed) reportedly in the scene where Mon Monthma is learning about the Scarif attack.
  • Sato's CR-90, "Liberator", can be seen in two space battle shots. The clearest one is the shot of the TIEs striking Raddus' command ship.
  • Hammerhead Cruisers
  • Steve Blum (voice of Zeb) clearly continued his moonlighting as Imperial Stormtroopers.

It's awesome to think most or even all of the ghost crew could still be around during the events of Rogue One. But I'm most interested in Ezra and Kanan... I really want to know if they survive up to Rogue One, or into even ANH territory -- because of all the implications of Jedi other than Yoda & Obi Wan still being active. I suppose it's possible they are technically alive at the start of Rogue One but die during one of the space battles. For the Ghost and its crew to get taken out during Rogue One feels like a good way to deal with that story arc.

Vanessa Marshall (Hera) also confirmed she voiced a Rebel pilot in the final battle.

It would be crazy if the show stick around long enough to eventually catch up to Rogue Ones time. And we potentially see it through their perspective.

Also made me realize how silly it is that Hasbro hasn't attempted a Ghost toy,
That pos Falcon that released in the Rebels line should have been a pos version of the Ghost.

So the Ghost is in the battle at the end of Rogue One...and
when Vader arrives the rebel fleet is decimated. We do not see the ghost escape. Can it be assume the Ghost and it's crew is a causality? That would help explain why no Kanan or Ezra running around rebellion using sabers and the force...

Yes but the Ghost was not shown as one of the few that did. I particularly watched for it my second viewing. I found that choice interesting. As one could assume they were killed in the battle which would wrap up the loose ends of two semi-Jedi's running around the Rebellion pre-ANH without having to kill both leads on a kids show

We know that
Chopper was at Yavin Base so at least he survives haha take that Chopper haters.

Rebels ties in more with Rogue One than anything Marvel has ever done with their TV shows lol.

They can't even be bothered to put a single building(Stark/Avengers tower) in a few skyline shots of the Netflix series.

Meanwhile this didn't take a lot of effort, however they did go and put in time and effort to acknowledge something that is essentially a little kid show
multiple times.

Omg what if Rebels' series finale runs parallel to Rogue One!? That would be an amazing alternative perspective on the events of the film.

TCW was originally going to run parallel with ROTS so it would be great if Rebels could do so with RO. Maybe they could even go further and run alongside the original trilogy movies?

Considering Clone Wars was planned to run alongside and past the events of RotS, it wouldn't surprise me if Rebels even crossed over with ANH.
