there was a zone that took like 42 hours or something insane for a guild to beat. and the figure of 1.5 years is in my head too for the longest raid completion
42 hours?
Was that Vanguard?

It's so stupid that i get 30 free days and cant play until I add a subscription...I normally would throw my CC in and play, but with every MMO getting hacked i just gotta wait to play until i can get a game card
Every mmo? What?

Hey folks, as you may likely have seen in the last 24 hours, we've been redoubling our efforts in optimally managing the time it takes to get into Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The BioWare Live Team has been carefully watching the influx of players into the game and is addressing with surgical precision the longer wait times on the small number of servers that were having longer wait times previously. We've also being doing our best to get every little bit of possible performance on our servers to increase capacity: weve turned them up to 11 to do our very best to get you in and playing as quickly as possible. As a result - you should now be seeing significant improvement versus waiting times at the end of last week.
We're also addressing the concerns about losing your place in line if you happen to disconnect for some reason before getting into the game. We've been working very hard on this and are performing final testing on potential solutions.
Thanks for your patience and we really appreciate your enthusiasm for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Were absolutely dedicated to ensuring you have a great experience both inside and outside the game.

You have to check 'show hidden files' in your folder options.

So this is weird. I've got a Coruscant Commendation item stuck in my inventory and I can't sell or do anything about it. Tried dragging it into the "currencies" section but no joy.
Anyone else get this?
Also, how do I get training for different weapons? Is that something I do or something that is handled by levelling up? Playing a Sage and want to go for a double lightsaber.
so I can apparently upgrade my ship, but how do I view my ships stats?

as a trooper, am i able to train in guns such as blaster cannons and sniper rifles? if so, where?
corsucant, now nar shaddar...... is all their is are city zones? gets old
Taral V + Maelstrom Prison Flashpoints (Jedi Prisoner Storyline) = FREAKING AWESOME. The KOTOR fan in me was so pleasantly surprised.
Because everyone isn't 14 years old.
Because it makes no sense at all to walk around in the outfit in the screenshot quoted when going into combat and doing what players do in the game. It does nothing but objectifying women as a sexual object for the male player and its really quite embarrassing to look at if you are a normal adult male.

Logged in today in a really bugged state. Sith Inquisitor spoilers below.
I have a personal holocom message and when I click on it, the cutscene with Lord Anathemos' assassins plays out in hologram form in my hand. Complete with the dialogue options. Choosing to kill him sends my lightsaber through the hologram. Further, I somehow have the quest 'Laying the Trap' again despite already having Ashara as my companion

Is it at all possible to have two instances of a game running at once, on the same computer?
I'd seriously consider buying another copy if I could; as since there's no level requirement for slicing (after getting it), I'd think it be wise to have a character in the background slicing constantly while I play, but that wouldn't spend a dime.
Slicing is gonna get nerfed, no doubt. But if I could save up $500K credits or something in the next month on a second character, I think that'd be worth it.

Slicing is not OP. Slicing is temporarily a lucrative skill because everyone is still leveling and not buying crafting mats or equipment for twinks. In a month, mats from foraging skills will be selling on the AH for significantly more than what you get from slicing. And with the inflation that happens in every MMO, slicing will still be providing the same amount of credits while all other skills will see a higher return. I think rather than getting nerfed, slicing will eventually have to be buffed.
A few things...
There is no level requirement to get slicing, you can get it at level 1 but your alt will probably only have 1 companion which isn't very efficient. It would make more sense for you to just advance your main until you have another companion unless you plan to level your alt too, or you already have all the companions on your main.
I really don't see a huge nerf to slicing coming. The only thing that really needs to change is the lack of a crew skill cap tied to your character level. This problem is really evident with slicing, when you're getting level 50 boxes at level 15 but in the future it will be just as much of a problem with all of the crew skills when the high level goods from other skills are valuable as well.
