So who here is currently an active SC2 player?
I play some ladder occasionally and I'm still involved in community, does that count?
I'm also a member of Conn.Si, where we host (mostly local) events and manage (Team MiA)

Still playing WoL myself. I don't really have time/focus to play/practice during school but on break right now so I've been gettin' on dat ladder.

Yeah I still play SC2 when I can but TvP has made it less fun to play recently. Looking to get back into it after classes settle down for a bit.
I just have one wish out of everything balancewise.
Time Warp becomes a researchable ability. Its just too powerful to have in the early game. Makes 1 gate + MSC pushes too powerful and game ending if you opened with anything besides a rax first opening. Probably need a bunker too. Oracles could use a nerf on their health if not their speed since 6 marines are needed to beat one and most of the time you barely have enough marines out in time.
JoyGear tourney has me excited. All ESF players lol.
Why Legend over Byun or another good Terran? Legend making a comeback with Choya into the competitive scene?
I'm digging that idea. Protoss never really use it defensively and they still have PO to save them from dying to early pressure like in WoL.
But DK could win trophies for how far a human being can fit their head up their own ass so I don't suspect we'll be seeing anything for a while, if ever.

The problem is what building do you put the research on? Do you put it on the Nexus and force Protoss to either kill their economy early if they want to be aggressive or make them wait until mid-game before they even think about getting it? Do you put the upgrade on the Forge instead and make Protoss choose whether Time Warp or upgrades is more important for them?
Best idea to me is increase the energy cost of Time Warp and Photon Overcharge by 25. It still lets them throw down two Time Warps at once, but not a Time Warp and Photon Overcharge. It also prevents them from throwing down two Photon Overcharges at once.

I still play a lot. Mostly arcade/team games and just casual 1v1 ladder. Ladder decay has turned me off trying to climb to high on the ladder. Most times when i play 1v1 i'm ranked against bronze-gold players just doing builds to entertain myself.

IMBA builds is a good place for builds. If not then watch pros.
You should also make the subreddit AllthingsTerran your home. Plenty of builds, replays, and explanations to be found. In fact I'd say that it's at least as valuable, if not more, as imba builds and watching pros. Using that subreddit you can get very directed learning of styles to try with active discussion to look at.

For anybody following the WCS scene, you know that First and YoDa left IM and switched regions to try to qualify for WCS EU through the ladder wildcard qualifier... well, that was held today.
YoDa was knocked out in the Ro64 by DIMAGA (who was subsequently knocked out in the Ro32) and First was knocked out in the Ro32 by DieStar (one of the six players who qualified). A shame since that means no Season 1 WCS action for them. Both are only 21 so they still have some years left. They should really work on finding a European team if they're serious about staying so they can keep up on their practicing.

When you mech its more of trying to make sure you don't die to harassment because no army can match you ground wise. Expect maybe Protoss with tons of Immortals.
Game got faster and more punishing, not too surprised.
But chargelots just a clicks my tanks, blink stalkers get away from hellbats and they add a couple of tempests

Chargelots shouldn't be getting to your tanks, hellbats should be in front. Blink stalkers get away from hellbats sure but they can't just get away from tanks. Just adding a couple of tempests is super late game and really is the least of your problems when playing mech.
I find mech pretty difficult as well but not for those reasons.
