It's people who incorrectly say "bad" rather than say "different." Either that or they're impatient, because Brood War wasn't perfect for quite a while.

Also, blind nostalgia distorts reality quite easily.

ok, taking a step back from all the drama that has being happening.

I've started watching little BW after SC2 and I always heard how epic TvTs were in BW, so gaf, show me the best pro TvT ever played (Where's Hazaro when you need him)

Well we have oGs-TL, FXOfOu, and now:

Houston, Texas & Seoul, South Korea
June 22, 2011

complexity Gaming and Team MVP are proud to announce that we have agreed to form an exclusive joint partnership which will see the formation of a jointly controlled StarCraft 2 division, currently consisting of two players: Park Soo Ho (“DongRaeGu”) and Jung Min Soo (“Genius”).

The arrangement is believed to be a first of its kind and will witness joint promotions and cooperation on a global level. DongRaeGu and Genius will represent compLexity and MVP both inside Korea and at international events. While playing inside Korea the players will wear a MVP jersey with a compLexity logo. While participating outside Korea they will sport a compLexity jersey with a MVP logo. compLexity will provide the global travel support. The players will also be available to join compLexity’s StarCraft 2 division during online team play. compLexity players who wish to train in Korea will be hosted at the MVP House for training purposes.

DongRaeGu’s first international appearance will be at MLG Anaheim. Genius is expected to return to Blizzcon 2011 to defend his 2010 championship. Events beyond that will be determined jointly by compLexity and MVP management.

“We are very happy to make this long term commitment to MVP and to StarCraft 2,” said Jason Lake, founder and CEO of compLexity Gaming. “The Korean community is a global powerhouse and we’re confident the addition of DongRaeGu and Genius will allow compLexity to continue our success on the stage of global gaming. Thanks very much to Choi at MVP for his amazing cooperation and vision and thanks to our sponsors SoundBlaster, PNY and Origin for making this dream a reality. We look forward to working along side our Korean friends and humbly ask for the support of their vibrant community.”

“MVP is very excited to work with one of the most famous gaming teams in the world,” said Choi Yoon Sang, manager of MVP. “We are extremely confident that this partnership will expand both our brand and the gaming experiences of DongRaeGu and Genius. Complexity approached us in a very respectful manner and the negotiations made it clear this is a great deal for both parties. I am very excited for the future.”

This sounds like an oGs-SK than FXO outright buying fou (fou is no more).

It's more like oGs-TL because of the fact that coL members can go to the MVP house and practice there. (I know fOu is no more lol).

oGs-SK is different due to the fact that SK doesn't really have a team and basically they're just sponsoring players whereas this is a pretty good partnership.

I'm just going to go and see which are more possible mergings

DiginitasZenex (the Tandongho thing seems pretty mutual, sign of future relationships??)
FnaticTSL (Rain's parting didn't have any bad blood and TSL is kind of desperate for cash)

Who else? Slayers probably doesn't need any, neither does IM or NSH (sponsored by a big technical school). Startale has heaps and heaps of sponsors.

Prime probably, considering they just lost their major sponsor.

Corran Horn

May the Schwartz be with you

Slayers has loads of cash due to boxer sponsors. IM didnt get sponsors until recently so who knows. NSH could do something to send people abroad.

The Dignitas and Zenex thing isn't that big. The guy is actually moving away to England to study. He'd probably have left the team anyways.

Let's hope he doesn't turn out like Select and completely stops studying in order to play :lol

Hazaro

relies on auto-aim

I HEARD YOU LIKE HOUR LONG TvT. THAT IS REAL WORLD MINUTES.
Make sure to listen to Korean at least in the background and watch the mini map constantly.
Key points are having good position, first to 2 attack upgrades (tanks 2 shot each other). Harass. Denying of gas. Drop attack and defense. Mixing the correct amount of goliaths and vultures.

Also things to remember:
No mules. This means each player has 10+ scans each late game.
12 units per control group
Each building must be clicked on to make a unit
Every worker must be told to mine minerals
BW AI is TERRIBLE

FBH is Yellow. Flash is Green. FBH has glasses. Flash has an eye twitch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSKKY6DYXB8 [Korean] DAT HYPE

I recommend syncing them and listening to both.
