Insane how many unique quest there are in this game! Been in the city for hours just questing, crazy there's still so much more out there.
Do i need to buy\find the jetpack if i have the perk already?
Still trying to wrap my head around it, lol.

It doesn't need to be as intricate as SC. Just do it like NMS
Nani? There are packs that don’t have boost functionality.
This must be the game with the highest number of individual objectives ever created, right? There’s so much shit everywhere!
Nani?
Ok, i already have the perk but not the jetpack, got it.You have to equip backpack with boost, check item description. And you have to invest at least one perk point in boost.
Yeah! Let's not do that! Why distract player with low quality content?
Spoiler tag anything like that in the future
Yeah! Let's not do that!
Looks at literally hundreds of procedurally generated planets with the same couple POIs sprinkled over them...
Difference is, walking through a forest or countryside there is wildlife, landmarks, geographical features etc. Space is, space. It’s a vast expanse of emptiness from one system / planet to the next. It doesn’t have the same kind of joy of exploration as a beautiful countryside like Skyrim
Even handcrafted content gets old very quick when you visit the same locations, with the same mob and loot placement over and over again.Stick to handcrafted stuff.
Roam around if you want to, but it would be empty space.
Makes sense to me. They will have to make some compromises.

Time Stamped for convenience. Are you playing the game? I will let someone who is playing chime in.
I've put in around 15 hours now and been to over 20 planets, I've still yet to see any copy and pasting of content and have been humbly surprised by what has been on each planet so far.Are you playing the game? I will let someone who is playing chime in.
Oof... That is disappointing. I don't think this game is for me.
This is staggering. You deserve a dessert on that desert moon.Ok so I wanted to test the space (tile) size and to be honest I can’t find it as I flew for 2 and a half hours yes that long towards Ariel (Uranus moon) 1KM is 5 seconds at 150 speed.
Yes we do get closer and the body takes up more of the screen as we get closer. Also stuff surrounding us will eventually vanish out of our view range. When you reach 0 M you just fly through the moon into space.
So in theory we could fly to planets, (obviously we can’t as it would take lifetimes, planters etc.. are light years away and well 1500 KM takes 125 minutes to travel. A light year is 9460730472580 KM work that out even 9850 KM would take 13/14 hours to fly to)
So yeah, we can fly away and towards body’s that we fly to.
I mean I don’t want to have to fly for another 2 and a half hours when I can hit a button and am there instantly
Anyways some pictures of me getting closer to the moon over time & a video of the finally .
"Shallow RPG mechanics with regard to dialogue, quest solutions, and influencing outcomes"Follow his channel. Already saw it. Luke is very reasonable.
But am not taking any chances with this game. GameSpot in their review called it a shallow game.
A Bethesda game. Let that sink in.
If this is like Skyrim, I will do crazy ass shit and rub it in their face.
Why do that?
Why distract player with low quality content?
As a player once you see end of content on a planet, just be reasonable and hop on your space ship to find a new one. Is it so hard?
There's so much to do in this game. So much variety it makes my head spin. I need a break. I'll take a walk.
Everspace 2 did a pretty good job making exploration fun. Personally, I love doing the hyperdrive thing and watching the planets and stars go by as I travel to my destination. A planet that is nothing but a backdrop isn't very immersive. As things are, the act of traveling in space has very little to it. Get in ship. Launch. Point ship towards marker. Click X. And you are there. Everspace 2 works the same except for the fact that you actually see the movement to that distant destination. For me, that makes a difference. If you don't care about that then perfectly fine, but some of us were just expecting the "in space" aspect of the game to be a bit more fleshed out than it is.

Yes, It's my biggest complaint that everything has that everything lit with haze everywhere. Zero contrast.
God damn, every area of the game has this disgusting haze filter that makes everything look washed out and gross. Areas that should be dark/black instead look gray or piss color. It's not an issue of limited vs full RGB as the menus all have true blacks, then you go into the game and it looks like above.
That's with film grain off. Auto HDR on/off makes no difference. Any mods yet for removing this shit in the PC gamepass version? (and I mean really removing it, not just adjusting the brightness/contrast to compensate for it).

Answering the real questions here. You're doing a great service, sir.Ok so I wanted to test the space (tile) size and to be honest I can’t find it as I flew for 2 and a half hours yes that long towards Ariel (Uranus moon) 1KM is 5 seconds at 150 speed.

i also hope it. but sadly it will be creation engine most likely. The more I play this game. The more I hope they don’t use the Creation Engine for TES VI.
Gamer amnesia is a hell of a thing. Since it was a mere few days ago that most if not all of these very same people, were a part of the hype train expecting and posting things far more than what was recieved.Don't be a dick Topher like me. Expect less be happy

They weren't lying that this just gets better and better.
I got some trade missions and all ready had crazy shit going on. Flew to a planet...entire quest line opens up with something else...
I guess, I've always played these games as a heavy charm, conversation character so I'm absolutely in my element here.
Did one wipe out a spacer mission on a random planet and it was intense as fook.
Game is incredible. Like genuinely amazing.
