To say it one more time.

This has been the longest time in recent history, that Capcom have not announced a new RE game. RE4make came out 2 years ago, no new announcement since then.

IT.IS.TIME.

FUCK PRAGMATA, CAPCOM. GIVE ME RE.

Really hope Capcom doesn't fold and we keep getting more first-person goodness.

So either Playstation has huge bangers to show off before the Switch 2 release

or

Playstation will continue to be fricking retards this gen

Marathon's new look, fairgames, Deathstranding 2, then indie leftovers.
Long shot Bloodborne: Reblooded.

What? I didn't know there was gonna be DLC for Silent Hill 2 Remake, I thought Bloober team are busy with Cronos.

They're following the Capcom model, release Born from a Wish later, like how RE4 remake released Separate Ways later.

DLC would probably require a much smaller crew.

From I can remember Separate Ways was part of original RE4 that Capcom reworked it as DLC for the Remake.

I'm curious what DLC is gonna be about for SH2R.

Separate Ways was not in the OG RE4 release on the Gamecube. Similarly, Born from a Wish wasn't in the original PS2 SH2 release.

Both were added with later releases of the game. (RE4 on PS2 and SH2 on Xbox). No DLC models like this back in those days.

It's the same thing Atlus did with P3 Reload and Episode Aigis. They *could* have added it to P3 Reload but why not sell it for $10 to $15 later. :messenger_smirking:

Definitely not going to be anything bloodborne related until after duskbloods has launched out of respect for miyazaki. Though, with the MP slop they've put out recently, not sure he deserves any lol.

Bloodborne remaster
Resistance trilogy remaster
Wolverine
GT8
Ghost of Yotei
New Sony SM IP
Project Delta

A ton of 3rd party stuff.

It's going to be a banger. A SoP for the ages.
>GT8
Could be. The revealed GT7 3 years after Sport but I think it's gonna be at the end of the year or the 1st quarter of 2026.

I've had a playstation since the psx, but I can't help but feel that this is timed to take some wind from nintendo's wings. And that's good: competition is better for the consumer. Meanwhile looking forward to adding the switch2 next to my ps5 pro.

Well... maybe this State of Play is where FF Tactics remaster/remake finally happens for real...

FFT is one of the greatest tactical RPG of all time. But its style is not catered to be a graphical powerhouse, I don't know what special they can do with Ps5 version of this is true.

fingers crossed. I'm happy as long there is evidence of a sharp pivot away from the live service plan.

I wanna see:
- Updates on previously announced games, Wolverine especially.
- Convince me Ghost of Yotei is worth is better than GoT
- Please show more Phantom Zero
- Whatever Bend has been working on
- Whatever Blue Point has been working on
- Honestly would like to see some gameplay of Intergalactic...still on the fence with this.
- Reveal Naughty Dog's 2nd project
- Limit the VR stuff.
- Limit the indie stuff. SGF will inundate us with that.
- Limit the remaster stuff. Unless its something actually old school.
- Have a host who has some character. It goes a long way.

State of Plays are the worst. Its nothing but third party and indie filler. Then, at the end, the narrator says that we have this one last game, and shows the 2.5d GoW. Too predictable, i miss Sony E3's where they were pumping the good shit.

Now since Days Gone dlc there is nothing announced for PC so I wonder what they plan bring next. Time for Demon's souls maybe?
considering the shitty sales they are having on PC, I am hoping they re evaluate their strategy. Either day one with PS5 or never. The first will just make the PS5 as useless as the Xbox. The second makes the Playstation more appealing due to its no where else to play their games but their console.

But this release of 1 year late port is meh. It just kills the hype ( at least for me).

I so wanted to play Stellar Blade for example, or even Spider-Man 2. I sold one of my PS5 consoles (the second is with my son ), so I didn't get the chance to play them. By the time they were released on PC, they had already lost me because the hype was gone. Now I am waiting for a deep sale.

kinda stupid way to think about it, but that's where I stand with these late PC ports these days.

4chins so take it with a mountain of salt but it sounds about right IMO
If this was the list id be so fucking disappointed unless that Starfield is a same day/week release.

Like I guess ace combat? Idk. Nothing there is a must have title for me I would want to see…

The billion dollar question would they make more money selling consoles or dropping all the R&D costs to sell more copies on PC

I tend to think some of Sonys mega hit first party titles would do staggering numbers on PC day one

For me, porting exclusives to PC and worse on the same date launch on PC and PS makes owning PS pointless. I don't get the logic of Sony why they are shooting there own foot.

I am still convinced Nightreign was intended to be Elden Ring GAAS.

Unless it's a 2026 Title (unlikely) I think they will wait to show more.
I mean they haven't rolled out the dlc yet so it could be. If they added seasons with maps, classes, new bosses, new events, new skins, etc a fromsoft simp like me will absolutely pony up.

Most of Sony's revenue is PS+ and their cut of third party GAAS.

There's a reason they have tried so hard to get a mega GAAS hit.
