Apparently there's a dual toilet setup at the local IKEA here and they're billing it as a family toilet.

I have a colleague who is part of the Canada women's hockey staff, I will ask him about this when I Skype with him next and try to provide more info!

I don't know when the article updated, but it says there are no dressing rooms at the practice rink. All the teams have dressing rooms at the main two arenas apparently, but for practices they have to dress there and get transported over.

Will be hilarious if this is the best Winter Olympics in decades

I basically agree with this tweet

I mean, the joke about Sochi being a mess because, Russia! has gotten a bit out of hand at this point. We look like jerks, at some point.

i'm sure the olympics will go well. and the issues are pretty minor. they are just so quirky & comical. in the ass, double barreled toilets, pillow outlets, shower surveillance, etc.

It is funny to laugh at some of the mishaps, but some people might be going a bit overboard. I doubt it's as bad as twitter reporters are making it out to be and the fake pics aren't exactly helping either.

Edit: Wait, the above picture was doctored by Russian TV, laugh on... :p

Yeah, it's time we show some respect for the Olympic Spirit... which is mostly vodka... and the Omnipotent Dictator and his idiotic schemes. Access to clean water isn't a basic human right, but sports is (fuck you Google you lame piece of shit).

If all this shit happened in any other country, they'd be laughed at too.

Its not like Russia was assigned to host the olympics, they lobbied to host it. A big part of why was probably Putin wanting to show how great his country was. We're seeing it now.

They do have a lot of problems but reading through posts like "Damn, can't Russia do anything right?" makes me feel like I'm browsing /r/DotA2/

Criticisms are getting ridiculous. Cold War is over. Time to move on.

Media getting caught in their own lies to make Russia look bad. link

I feel bad for the average citizens and employees, just trying to do their best after being dealt a shitty hand. Putin and his Olympic organizers had shitloads of money to spend on this, and an awful lot of it obviously never made it to what we're seeing on the global stage.

Yeah, the Russian broadcast apparently cut to rehearsal footage. You can see the audience in the background being totally different.
